“ You will walk. ” Tyson told me.

I took a deep breath and kept my head down. “ it might take a whole day to get home if I walk. ”

“ And you think I care? Why is that? ” His cold voice made my spine freeze.

Without saying another word to him, I started walking. It was no use arguing. He was trying to hurt me, and I should at least let him do that after everything I did to him.

His horse and the horse of his warrior both followed me as I walked in front. After running home all the way from the Eastcairn Citadel and then running all around the pack to find Adelia, my legs hurt. With each step forward, I felt a sharp pain shooting from the tips of my toes to my inner thighs.

The muscles in my legs were not in good condition. I could heal if I was given some time to rest, but I wouldn’t get that. Telling him that walking hurt like hell right now would only please him more.

“ What were you thinking when you decided to go against me? ” Tyson asked after a long pause.

I definitely don’t hate and won’t ever hate Tyson. I can only hate Amelia, that’s for sure. I know she was a victim as well, but still… I can’t find any empathy for her so far.
