chapter 6

One night before the marriage,

Two souls were crying over their fate while two souls were happy thinking about their future. Anaya was crying, looking at her bridal wear. She can’t think about her future, what will be the result of this marriage? Ahaan loves her sister, and he hates her. He messaged her and warned her about  future when he got to know she agreed to the marriage. She will be his unwanted and forced wife.

She was crying over her fate when her mother entered the room. She said while stroking her hair:” Anaya, you remembered your grandma's words about marriage?”

Anaya remembered her  Grandma’s words:” Anaya, marriages are made in heaven. God binds two imperfect people into the bond so they can complete each other.”

She heard her mother:” Anaya, I know your marriage life will be difficult but I have full trust in my daughter. I know you know the importance of marriage. Remember, Ahaan has full rights over you the same way you have full rights over him. Always support him, and give him love, respect, and strength. But always remember, never sacrifice your self-respect. As his wife, you deserve respect from him.”

Anaya nodded and put her head in her mother’s lap.

On the other hand, Alya was happy thinking about her marriage with Dhruv, but somewhere she was feeling uneasy thinking about Ahaan and Anaya’s marriage. But she shrugged her thoughts thinking now she shouldn’t think about Ahaan. She was going to sleep when her phone rang. She picked up the call seeing Ahaan’s caller id.

Ahaan:” Why did you do this to me?”

Alya:” I am sorry Ahaan but I was thinking about my future.”

“Alya, you know how much I love you. Please, don’t do this to me. I love you so much. I will forget everything, let’s run away. I don’t want to marry Anaya.” He begged

Alya felt happy hearing he still loved her. She masked her happiness and said:” I am sorry, Ahaan. Please forget me and focus on Anaya.” She cut the call and walked toward Anaya’s room.

She entered the room and saw Anaya packing her things. She said with a smirk:” You know Anaya, just now your husband called me and confessed his love.” Anaya stopped her work and turned toward Alya.

Alya continued:” You know, he wanted me to run away with him. He was begging me to marry him. He didn’t want to marry you. Poor him.”

Anaya got worried, hearing her worry, Alya said, patting her cheeks:” Don’t worry, I refused to marry him. I told him that I only wanted to marry Dhruv. I came to remind you that he only loves me. He has been mad for me since my college days, you will always be his unwanted and forced wife. Your marriage will be unsuccessful and he will leave you one day. So, don’t keep high hopes, it will save you from heartbreak.” The moment Alya left the room, Anaya fell on the floor and cried covering her face.
