Alora pov

I hate to ask this of my mate, but I need the blood samples if I'm going to get a clear picture of all this. I know how exhausted he is, can feel it through the bond even if he tries to hide it from me.

"Can't you send someone else to get them? I know you are exhausted," I say to him and look at his tired expression for a bit. I know he is the best one for the job, but I would rather have him rest than get what I need.

"It's too important to send anyone else, we might only get one shot at this, and I'm not leaving it to anyone else." He says before I see him try to smile at me, it's pointless when I know how bad he needs the sleep and not to mention the worry he has for Aron. It's going to take a lot from us all if it becomes as hard as it did the last time.

"Why don't you sleep first, and we can come up with the best plan for this in the morning when you're not as exhausted?" I try to get some sense into him, didn't lay this on him only to place him right in danger.

    Kaylee pov I'm lying in bed, tossing and turning until I see the sun come up. I can't wait to do as planned when I toss the cover off me and place my feet on the floor.
