"Why did you even sleep with that girl?" I shouted at him, tears streaming down my face.

He shrugged. "Dunno. Guess I got bored of you."

Ouch ouch ouch ouch.

"Just... leave. Please." I said shakily.

He shrugged again. "Okay." And with that, he walked out of the door as if nothing happened.

The last thing I saw was his beautiful forest green eyes. I used to love them. A lot. Hint: 'used'.

"Hey sweetie," my mom smiled at me. "What do you want for dinner? I was thinking of pizza but— hey, what's wrong?"

I loved my mom, a lot. She's as cool as my dad, and I'd hate to lie to her. But right now, my problem is my problem. I can't drag her in and burdened her.

"No-nothing." I stammered.

"No, no, no, no. Don't lie to me." She said. "Chloe... that look... you're heartbroken."

"I'm- I'm fine... Mom..." I said through tears.

"Did Ashton do anything to you?"

I started crying even harder upon hearing his name. What happened to us?

"Mom, there's this party on Sunday and— Chloe? What happened?"

My twin brother, Caleb, looked at me worriedly. He placed his hand on my shoulder. "Chloe?"

"I'm fine." I lied through tears.

My dog, Vanilla, came up to me and started whimpering. I love her so much. It's such a shame that her Father, Oreo, died of illness a few weeks back. Why do my parents like naming our dogs after food, that I don't know.

"Arielle!" My dad shouted. "The tv remote is broken again! Do you think you can— hey, what's up with Chloe?"

I shook my head. "I just need to sleep."

"No, no, I need to know who did this to my Sister so I can beat the crap out of them," Caleb stated.

"And while Caleb is doing that, I'm joining him and helping him." Dad joined in.

"Scott." Mom said through gritted teeth, which made dad shrugged. Mom then turned to me. "Do you need us to call Ashton here, sweetie?"

"Um no." I said, wiping a tear. "We- we broke up."

The room became quiet.

"Caleb," dad said. "Bring the shovel. We've got... some business to do."

Caleb nodded. "Yeah, we do."

And that, ladies and gentlemen, was how I gained a hatred for forest green eyes.

But hey, I read somewhere that only 2% of the world's population had green eyes, so there might be a very little chance that I see another one again.

Right?
