Chapter 40 - Fooled By Her

My mother had her hands at the door frame while shaking her head when I saw her in the corridor facing my brother's room.

So shocked that she couldn't utter a word after she screamed. I walked towards my mother's shaking figure.

And when I arrived at the door, my eyes landed on my brother who wore a guilty and regretful look.

My relationship with my brother was always great and I know that he wasn't faking it when I saw how remorseful he was.
