Amelia couldn't stop her jaw from dropping in shock at what the woman in front of her was saying.
How could a succubus be here and how did she manage to find her? She had kept her identity hidden from the outside world since fleeing the convent, but now it appeared that others knew, and she wasn't as safe as she thought.
"Don't worry." The woman chuckled, catching onto Amelia's quickly spiraling thoughts. "I have no intention of revealing your secret or hurting you."
Fixing her gaze on the woman's, Amelia continued to remain quiet. Why in the world would she even begin to trust this complete stranger? She had no reason to help her.
