Chapter 6: Travelling Nomads

For a week after that, Amelia spent her days switching between resting and running. She had travelled as far away from the church as possible, finding herself in a small farming village just on the outskirts of Vi.

The first day she arrived, things were peaceful. However, later in the day, hunters managed to find their way to her, marching through the streets, banging on doors, doing immediate inspections. Causing as much trouble as they possibly could. When they didn’t manage to find Amelia hiding within the homes, they moved onto barns and sheds.

By the end of their inspection, the peace that had lain over the village was upturned and ruined. Knowing that she couldn’t stick around anymore, she found herself fleeing once more. 

That was how things went each day. She would find herself in a new vill
