Danielle was busy inside the admin office of Loukas Island when James arrived so she was not able to welcome him and Myrna.
But James understood and told her not to think about it.
"How is the preparation going?" he asked while looking at Danie's anxious face.
"Everything is fine, Uncle. The other VIPs have already started arriving since yesterday. Oh, by the way, who took the flight with you today?"
He did not answer as he was planning to talk to Lucas tonight first. He didn't think the man in Danielle's heart would already have a girlfriend.
If that was the case, then he could not allow him to see Danielle. He would just hurt his precious niece.

The next thing Danielle knew, it was just her and Lucas standing by the seashore. She found herself staring at her feet which she had already freed from her shoes, enjoying the stroke of shallow waves. “So, this is the kind of life that you grew up with,” Lucas said after a short while of silence.
