Chapter 47: A werewolves Alliance

I teleported us back to the house, but when we got there, the house was empty. Adrenalin rushed into my body and I jumped when Leah placed her hands on my shoulders. She gazed into my eyes. “Calm down. The wolves wouldn’t have wanted to come inside.”

I closed my eyes and nodded my head. She was right.

I followed Leah out to the back garden. There were still no signs of Cassie or the wolves. A repetitive banging rang in my ears and I rushed towards it. Leah followed behind. It led us into the forest and to the edge of the estate. Several people were there, which I assumed to be wolves. Most of them were wearing nothing more than a pair of trousers, despite the chilly weather.

When we got closer, they turned and stared at us. I could hear continuous growls coming from several of them, which stopped me in my tracks.
