chapter 66

Third person's p.o.v

Lucas and Daniel were making their way to the girls when Lucas witnessed a hand on the surface of the pool.

He analysed the place and a haze of fear surrounded him when he did not notice Linda's presence. He threw the drinks, not caring where or on whom it would end. Taking out his coat, he ran towards the pool and jumped in the water.

Panic engulfed Daniel when Lucas performed those actions. He did what he needed to do and moved to the pool quickly.

Terror seized him as Lucas brought the person out of the water. A half-unconscious Linda was in his arms. Blood drained from his face and he stood rooted to the ground.

"Lend me a hand."

Only when Lucas shouted for help, he came to his senses. He pulled Linda out and held her in his arms. She was shaking from head to toe.

Daniel removed his suit and covered her while Lucas got out of the pool and suggested making Linda sit on the couch above if she was comfortable and okay. Daniel sat along with Linda and provide
