Aria’s POV

He didn’t look back at me when he left. For a minute, I just stood there, staring at the ground, before finally making my way to the kitchen.

I started preparing, but my hands were trembling the whole time because my mind wouldn’t stop racing. Then, suddenly, someone shouted—

“What are you doing here?!”

“Huh? What?”

When I turned around, I saw the head cook.

“I-I’m…”

He shook his head as if he couldn’t stand to watch another second. “Let me handle it!”

He snatched the knife from my hand.

That look—cold, dismissive, and condescending—made my chest tighten. To him, I was nothing more than a nuisance. An outsider who didn’t belong here.

“I’m sorry,” I murmured quietly, stepping back.

“Don’t use my kitchen without permission!”

“I was just preparing food for the Alpha—”

“Then let me handle it!”

He just kept chopping, the rhythmic thud of the knife filling the tense silence. I stood off to the side, watching him work, feeling like I had no place in this kitchen.

Aria’s POV“Though,” he stopped himself, “if you’re tired, it’s okay—you don’t have to—”“No,” I interrupted him. “It’s okay. I want to celebrate too.”He sighed. “Okay.”When we finally stepped outside, we joined the celebration. The entire pack was gathered around, laughing, drinking, and talking. While I was observing everything, one of the elders approached me. His expression was serious as he slowly bowed his head to me. I panicked a little and immediately shook my head.“No, no, you don’t have to do that,” I said quickly.“Aristea, my name is Eldric. I wish to speak with you formally,” he said, looking straight at me. “We understand now that you never did anything wrong to the pack.”He paused for a moment before adding, “We… we were wrong.”I smiled. “It’s okay. I understand.”“If you so choose, the council may assist you in formally severing ties with Alpha Aiden,” he said, “The divorce documents can be prepared and submitted by us; your only responsibility will be for him to

Aria’s POV“But you’re pregnant. I don't want to hurt you,” he reminded me.I shook my head, already lost in the dizzying desire that was clouding my judgment.“I don’t mind,” I whispered, forcing the words past my dry throat. I looked at him, my eyes pleading with an intensity I hadn't known I possessed.“You can taste me down there.”I bit down hard on my lower lip, a sharp, distracting pain to fight the overwhelming heat pooling deep within me. I couldn't understand why my body was suddenly reacting to him this way—why every nerve ending felt awake, buzzing, and desperately hungry.Kaelen watched my face intently. His strong jaw visibly tightened. I saw the pure desire in his eyes suddenly burst into flames. It was thrilling and terrifying.Without breaking eye contact, he moved. Slowly, deliberately, he sank to his knees in front of me. I was sitting, the soft fabric doing little to cushion the sudden spike of anxiety and anticipation I felt. The air in the room grew heavy, thick

Aria’s POV“Where are we going?” I asked him quietly. My voice sounded unsure even to my own ears. But he didn’t answer. He just kept walking, holding my wrist gently but firmly as he guided me down the long hallway of the palace.I didn’t know what to expect. Each steps was heavy, and my chest tightened a little with every second of silence between us. Then, suddenly, he stopped. I looked up and realized we were standing in front of a familiar door. I recognized it right away. His office. When he pushed the door open, a wave of memories flashed in my head. I stepped inside with him, and the first thing I noticed was the mess on his table. There were papers everywhere, scattered as if he had been digging through them for hours.“Just tell me,” he said, turning to face me so fast that I almost froze. His expression was serious, but there was something gentle in his eyes. “Tell me if you’re ready. I’m not going to force you.”My throat tightened. “You mean…?” I whispered. He nodded. “Ye

  • Forsaken With His Pup   Chapter 60: Acceptance at Last

Aria’s POV“Kaelen...”His name was the only thing I could manage to say.His hand found mine. The moment his fingers touched mine, a strange calm washed over me, and at the same time, my heart pounded so hard it felt like it might burst through my chest. Then, slowly, carefully, he reached into the small box and pulled out the diamond ring.My breath caught in my throat as he slid it onto my finger himself. The way it fit… it felt like it belonged there, like it had always been meant for me. I couldn’t stop staring at it for a moment, letting the sparkle catch the light and the movement of his fingers. He closed my hand gently around the ring, his grip firm but careful. His hand was rough, bigger than mine, and slightly calloused, but it didn’t feel harsh. It felt safe. When I finally looked up at him, I saw something in his expression that made me swallow hard.It was admiration. I didn’t realize how much I craved that kind of look until I saw it in his eyes. It was rare for him to

  • Forsaken With His Pup   Chapter 59: Finally Seen

Aria’s POV“Alpha!”I heard a familiar voice. The door knocked once, then slowly opened.Lennox stepped inside. For a second, he just stood there, looking at me. But something was different. His eyes didn’t have that cold stare he always gave me before. He nodded at me. “How are you? Are you in pain? Are you alright?”“I’m fine,” I answered quietly, confused. My eyes dropped to my body. I noticed how many bandages were wrapped around my chest. Most of the scratches and cuts on my arms and sides had already been treated with antidotes, but the biggest injury was definitely my chest.Lennox walked closer. Kaelen immediately stood up.“What is it? Is there a problem?” he asked, his tone was calm but protective.“No, Alpha. Nothing like that,” Lennox said. “I just wanted to make sure about what I heard from the healer. That we’re keeping Aria here. That we’ll protect her from the enemies who want to take her—especially now that the Crescent Moon is proving she’s the real Aristea.”“Yes,”

  • Forsaken With His Pup   Chapter 58: Hold On to Me

Aria’s POVKaelen lifted me into his arms.“Aria, please hold on,” he begged, his voice shaky as he started running. The wind rushed past us because he was sprinting with everything he had. He kept glancing down at me as if he was checking every second if I was still breathing. But the pain in my chest was getting worse. Every breath came out shaky, and I couldn’t stop the burning feeling spreading across my ribs. My thoughts kept drifting back to Aiden—what he did to me, how easily he hurt me. That memory alone intensified the pain.My vision started to tilt. Everything around me felt like it was moving in circles. The trees, the ground, the sky—they were all spinning and blending together. I tried to focus on Kaelen, on the warmth of his chest, but my head felt too heavy. The pain mixed with dizziness because I had already lost too much blood. My body felt weaker every second, like I was slipping out of myself.“We’re almost there,” Kaelen said, breathless. But his voice sounded far
