Ellyse drove by herself when Kai left. The silence after both of them left her alone with her thoughts. She couldn’t stop herself from thinking about Agatha, and how their supposed meeting would end like. She hated how much it bothered her, and how it left her overthinking about things that shouldn’t even matter to her anymore. What appalls her is the fact that a part of her still believed Kai when he told her he’s finally ending things with her. From what she knows, she’s moved on from him. Kai slept at Claire’s room while Ellyse stayed at her own. She woke up extra early because Claire still had school the next day so she had to prepare breakfast. “Hello, Kai,” It’s 10pm in the evening and Ellyse remembered promising Claire that her Dad will visit her tomorrow.
