THE TRUTH

Lucien had strolled to where they parked their car, got in, and drove back to the pack with a happy smile on his face. His phone was already ringing and he picked it up, putting it on loudspeaker.

"Yeah?", He answered, almost wanting to sigh.

"Where are you?", He heard Mia's voice ask at the other end.

"Why? What happened?", Lucien asked, wondering if something had happened that made her call him and ask such a question.

"No it's nothing", he heard her say sweetly, "It's just that I miss you m, a lot".

Normally this would affect Lucien or make him feel happy and all but it killed the happy feeling he was having, "Find something to keep yourself occupied with, something fun, I'll see you later" " he said as he ended the calm before she could even speak.

At the house in the Thunder Pack, Mia looked at her phone and whined angrily, "But why did he hang up on me? No kisses no I love you's, just nothing", she said with a pout forming on her lip
