Framed By The Lightning King

The rain drops bounced as they hit the window sill. There were heavy knocks on the door despite the heavy rain. Three women and a man sat in the darkness of the room except one who stood folding some pieces of clothing into a bag "This Is unfair, mother".

"Shut up Wesley, what do you know" said the man who after receiving a nod of affirmation from his wife went to get the door open.

Annalise sobbed until she could find no strength to do so anymore. " Don't cry , just be happy." Her sister Emira said. It was bad that they were poor but it was even worse that they had to use her as a way of paying off their debt.

"Will we ever see you again?" Wesley asked. He was fourteen. Annalise herself had no answer to his question. The knock came heavy this time as the rain had reduced to just a drizzle.

The sack had been packed with her clothes and she held her diary in her hand. Her father , Tom looked at her for a when with no feeling of regret in his eyes . "Why don't you lose that book, it will be of no use to you where you're going" he said.

Annalise made the biggest mistake right then. "Where am I going?" She demanded holding the book even tighter. She knew what was going on around her. It was getting clear now.

Finally her father got to the door and opened it. The man standing outside wore a huge leather coat and looked scary.

God , no he couldn't be the one they were sending her away to.

The door was locked behind her the instant she came out of it. There were no goodbyes or hugs and kisses just nothing. Her mother didn't even want to look at her but she could see the tears streaming down her face.

She wanted to go back to that door and hit it so hard but this man grabbed her by the wrist and held her back. " Why don't you just stay steady?" he asked. Then he roughly shoved her into the car and she could feel her wrist burning at the spot where he held her.

The journey was a long one. it was hard to even imagine how her parents even got to find out about this man. Finally however they did arrive at a house, it was a mansion.

aThe rain had ceased and only drizzled so much now.

Annalise held on tightly to her sack of clothes as it was the only thing still left for her to defend. "Here , follow me" Annalise knew that this wasn't the best of places to struggle so she just did as she was told.

The sack she placed under her left arm as she walked down. "Where are you taking me to this time?" she demanded. They walked past a huge mirror but she avoided staring at her reflection in it because she thought it was hideous. The gown she wore was in the least bit of attractive. Her mother had picked it out specially for her. Thinking about her parents made her angry but thoughts of Weasley and Emira helped to make her feel better. I t also made her feel sad.

Her parents had taken so much money from this man that at a point one could have mistaken them for a wealthy family or something. They finally arrived in front of a small door. Annalise looked at the man and back at the door

" Don't just stand there, go in" he said.

It wasn't until she was all alone that she wept. Tears just kept flowing down her cheeks. How could her parents do this to her. Annalise cried until she heard a knock at the door and realized that she had fallen asleep from crying too much.

The knock came again and she got scared. it was harder this time than the first and second.
