The black wolf kept on drawing near but he had stopped running now. Linny was very sure that it was a he because there was no woman in this world that would look so evil.

He was big but not as big as Damian's wolf.

Linny felt trapped. The pain jolted through her body as she lay there with her head half raised. Damian wasn't her alpha and there was no way he could sense her in danger.

His dark fur was close enough to her heels and she buried her face in the dry leaves that were scattered all over the floor by the wind.

Tears filled her eyes and poured out on her face.

The wolf sniffed her repeatedly and howled out loud. He walked away from her.
