"You're the one who said free meals were a perk for car owners!" Daniel Dawson snapped. "What, are you trying to go back on your word now?"

I fixed him with a cold stare, struggling to keep my temper in check. "Coming in for a free meal once in a while as a perk for car owners is perfectly reasonable. Nobody has a problem with that. But you show up here almost every day with your entire family, eat our food, and take home whatever you can get your hands on. What do you think this place is, a damn soup kitchen?"

Instead of showing the slightest bit of shame, Daniel slammed his hand on the table. "Cut the crap! Refusing to let me eat here is a breach of our original agreement! You're ripping off your own customers! Just you wait. I'll report this dump to the local consumer protection agency and have the whole place shut down!"

As his voice grew louder and the situation spiraled out of control, my coworker Ethan Brooks went pale. He hurried over, tugged anxiously at the hem of my shirt, and leaned in to plead with me in a low voice. "Come on, man. Just let it go. Why make trouble when we don't have to? This guy isn't someone we can afford to mess with. Don't make things worse."

The moment Daniel realized Ethan was backing down, his arrogance went through the roof. He snatched the takeout Ethan had just ordered right out of his hands and tore open the packaging as if it belonged to him.

"See that? Even he knows better than to mess with me. You're the only idiot in this place stupid enough to keep running your mouth."

He dropped onto the sofa, crossed one leg over the other, and pointed at the empty cup on the table. "Now get over here and bring me a glass of water!"

Then he leaned back and added smugly, "And I want a proper apology. Maybe then I'll consider letting this slide."

I'd had enough. Did this guy seriously think he was royalty? Ethan and the others might have been afraid of him, but I sure as hell wasn't.

"You bought a cheap commuter car that barely cost 50,000 dollars, and now you think you're some kind of big shot? This dealership is a business, not your personal playground. We have rules, just like everyone else!"

"Oh, so you've got a mouth on you, huh?"

Daniel sprang to his feet, his face twisted with humiliation and rage, and shoved me so hard that I crashed to the floor.

"This place doesn't belong to you! You're just some nobody working for a paycheck. Who the hell do you think you are, sticking your nose into my business?"

He jabbed a finger at me and sneered. "Let me make one thing clear. My cousin is the sales director here! All it takes is one word from me, and you'll be packing your bags before you know it!"

I couldn't help laughing. So, that was why he'd been strutting around like he owned the place. He had someone in management backing him up, and he thought that made him untouchable.

I had no intention of wasting another second arguing with an entitled bully, so I pulled out my phone to call the police.

"They mooched free meals, destroyed 600,000 dollars worth of automotive paint, and then tried to burn someone alive! These people are fucking psychopaths!" one viewer raged.Another erupted, "I just sent that bastard a Super Thanks! Give me my money back! I want a refund right fucking now!" Daniel completely lost it. His hands shook as he frantically fumbled with his phone, desperately trying to shut down the livestream. "No! That's not what happened! Those videos are fake! They've been doctored! Just give me a chance to explain!"Lily was just as terrified. Her face deathly pale, she stumbled backward, seemingly unable to believe that their carefully crafted lies had unraveled so spectacularly. But before Daniel could even figure out how to end the stream, the screen suddenly went black. The platform had intervened and permanently banned his account.A glaring system notification appeared on the screen: "This account has been permanently suspended for serious violations of plat

The sound of shattering windshields echoed throughout the showroom as chaos spiraled out of control. As if things weren't bad enough already, Victor's phone suddenly rang. He answered, and his expression darkened almost immediately as the person on the other end delivered the bad news. "Mr. Sterling, we have a serious problem. The livestream has been maliciously edited and pushed to the top of the trending charts. The group's stock price is taking a massive hit. The market's been open for less than ten minutes, and our shares have already plunged eight percent!" Victor broke out in a cold sweat, his hand shaking so badly that he could barely hold his phone steady as he held it out to show me the charts."Mr. Sterling, if we don't shut down that livestream immediately, the losses could be catastrophic!" I merely sneered and calmly pushed his phone back down. "Why would we shut it down?" I asked, my tone almost amused. "Tell the operations team to pour money into promoting Dan

Lily had had enough of the arguing. She pulled out her phone and dialed a number. "Mr. Walker, we've got trouble at the dealership. Some people are making a scene and pretending to be senior executives from headquarters. Get over here with your security team and throw them out!" Less than five minutes later, Brandon Walker, the branch manager, stormed in with several security guards. He immediately stepped in front of Lily protectively before pointing an accusing finger at Victor and me. "Where the hell did you nobodies come from? You have some nerve to cause trouble on my turf."Without waiting for an answer, he barked at the guards, "Security! Beat these scammers up and throw them out! If anything happens, I'll take full responsibility!" The guards immediately closed in around us. Victor's face darkened with fury, and he looked ready to explode, but I raised a hand to stop him. Rather than waste my breath arguing with these people, I pulled out my phone and logged into the

Several bodyguards immediately grabbed fire extinguishers and unleashed a barrage of foam on the burning cardboard and tires. Meanwhile, Victor rushed over and hauled me to my feet. The moment he saw how deathly pale I was, his entire body began to tremble, and his eyes filled with panic. "Call an ambulance!" he roared at the bodyguards behind him, his eyes bloodshot."Mr. Sterling, please hang on! Please forgive me. I shouldn't have taken this long to come." He quickly shrugged off his jacket and wrapped it tightly around me, as though afraid he might lose me if he let go for even a second.Meanwhile, Lily and Daniel stood frozen, staring blankly at the sudden arrival of so many people. Lily, however, had no idea who Victor was. As my family's butler and a member of the corporate headquarters staff, he was hardly someone she could afford to offend, but she had no way of knowing that. Instead, she strode toward the doorway, folded her arms across her chest, and glared at the in

The area outside the storage room fell silent. The only sound was Lily's rapid, panicked breathing. "Who the hell are you?" she demanded. "I was so careful that even the store manager had no idea what I was doing! How could you possibly have found out?""That's none of your business." I stood in the water, my voice cold and unwavering. "Let me out now, and we can still work something out." Lily had clearly been rattled. She was just about to unlock the door when someone suddenly slammed the lock back into place."Lily, have you lost your mind?" Daniel hissed, his voice low and vicious. "He has evidence against you! If you let him out now, he'll turn around and have you thrown in jail!" "Then what the hell are we supposed to do?" Lily's voice trembled. "He even took pictures of everything." "What are you so afraid of?" Daniel sneered. "Now that he knows everything, we can't afford to let him walk out of here alive!" My heart sank. I hurriedly pulled out my phone, hoping to c

The air grew more stifling by the second as I stumbled through the darkness, struggling to breathe. My vision blurred, and waves of dizziness washed over me as my brain struggled to function without enough oxygen. The blast door was sealed so tightly that not even a sliver of light could penetrate it. Lily wasn't just trying to teach me a lesson. She was willing to kill me. But I wasn't about to die in this godforsaken room. Forcing my trembling legs to keep moving, I braced one hand against the wall and felt my way along it until I found the ventilation opening high above me. Someone had covered it with a metal sheet, completely blocking the airflow. Gripping an iron rod, I raised it with what little strength I had left and swung at the sheet again and again, each strike sending a jarring vibration through my arms. Finally, with a shrill screech of tearing metal, the sheet gave way, leaving a hole barely large enough for fresh air to rush in.I immediately pressed my face against
