I gazed up at the starlit sky that blanketed my hometown, with the love of my life sleeping on my lap. It was the best feeling in the entire world. I had long given up on finding my Fianna, and now look at us. It's been a tough road, and there is much more that we need to face, but I know that with Freya by my side we can achieve anything. I will not let anything happen to her, and I will die trying to protect her. She is my world, she is my love, she is my everything. 

I carefully scooped Freya up into my arms then gradually stood up trying my hardest not to wake her. That was the most peaceful I had seen her in such a long time, and I didn't want to ruin it.
