Chapter 24 - Unlikely Mates

It worked! I couldn’t believe that it actually worked, I knew the best chance we would have would be if I was to temporarily disable the barrier but even then I was skeptical. I could see Mila’s pack making their way over the river, there were hundreds of them, surely Jett wouldn’t be so stupid as to think he could win over a pack this size. I had better hide too, they know that witch magic was used against them for a time, they had no way of knowing that I now wanted to help. They would kill me on site for sure.

All around me members of Jett’s pack gathered, stalking the newcomers, waiting patiently for the opportunity to ambush them. They split off into teams of three, smart move. There were ten times of them compared to Jett’s pack. These wolves wouldn’t stand a chance, but they were just defending a person they believed to be their Alpha if only they knew the truth.
