MARIE RICHWOOD P.O.V

I waited until I heard the last bell. Cyrus had kept to himself throughout the day and I was sick and tired of the sullen attitude. I watched him from the corner of my eye as he arranged his books absentmindedly into his school bag.

I sighed; I waited for him to finish with his packing. He threw the bag over his shoulder, ignoring Nicole’s goodbye wish. He stood up from his seat; giving me a small wave, he left the class looking unfocused.
