At that moment, I had already dug my own grave.

It was as if I had committed some grave sin in a past life against that golf ball's entire ancestry because despite the vast expanse of the golf course, it decided to target Sean's head directly.

Christian, standing behind me, immediately distanced himself, his expression making it clear that he wanted no association with me.

I empathized with him. In this realm, no one dared to incur Sean's displeasure. Whether I had actually hit that golf ball or not didn't matter; the undeniable outcome was that I was held responsible for it.

"Mr. Lawisson, I'm truly sorry, I'll take you to the hospital right away." Christian rushed over, wearing a remorseful expression. "I take full responsibility for not overseeing her properly, leading to your injury."

I lifted my hand to wipe my eyes, and they quickly turned red. Panic washed over my face as I knelt before Sean, my voice quivering. "Mr. Lawson, I'm so sorry. I really don't know what happened..."
