Chapter 164- Griffon

I stand pacing in my room, trying to figure out exactly what’s going on.

I’ve never acted like this before. I’ve never rebelled against my parents like kids like to do. I’ve hardly even gotten into fights with them, a mild disagreement here and there, but never this.

Never to the point where I say something as horrible as what I said. It’ll kill my mom if she finds out I said something so horrible about her. She’s always called me her little protector, even when I started getting older and would tell her to at least drop the ‘little’ part. She never did. She thought it was sweet and it’s something she’s always held onto since I was old enough to walk.

And now her ‘little protector’ says she’s not my mother, like she didn’t raise me, care for me, love me with every fiber of life she’s held. Even the fact that she gave birth to Heather and me when her world was falling apart, and didn’t give us up or kill us should tell me just how much she’s always loved us, and now I do this.
