‘You want this.’ A voice I’ve never heard before filters through my brain. I look around to see if anyone else is here, but I don’t see anyone. ‘All the drama, all the pain. Don’t you just want it all to be over?’ The voice continues, and I shake my head. “Not like this.” I tell it, and I swear I hear someone cackle.

‘This is the way. The way to save everybody. A way for all of you to meet the Goddess and live happy afterlives together. We can make this happen.’ The voice says and I continue to shake my head. “Amy? What’s going on? I can’t hear your thoughts.” Leah says from beside me and I grab my head to stop the impending headache from getting worse.

“Amy! We have to do something! She’s headed to Hazel’s!” Leah shouts at me, and my head snaps up to see Hazel’s house in my vision.
