I haven’t moved all day. I know Liam’s still here, he hasn’t left since my freak out. Him and Dallas are both just sitting at the table, watching me… I don’t have to see them to know that’s what’s happening.

Granted their probably mind-linking each other. Keeping me out of it, because they think I can’t handle it, and lets be honest… I can’t.

I don’t know how much more I can handle. I don’t even think I’m handling what I already have. Locking myself in this cell, pretending that I can’t do anything to stop this.

Can I do anything?

I throw the blanket off myself and Dallas and Liam both sit straighter in their chairs and look at me worried. I sit up and look at both of them. “I’m tired of just sitting here, not doing anything to help.” I tell them.

Liam shakes his head, “Angel, you can’t do anything without her knowing what you’re doing.” He tells me standing up and walking closer to the cell.

I stand up and meet him at the bars, “This is all my fault and all I’m doing to help is hide

This week went by way too quickly, and standing here waiting for their cars to meet us at the pack house without my mate by my side, just feels wrong.“Stop moving so much. Goddess, you even look nervous.” Cole hisses from beside me, and I instantly freeze up. My hand that was drawing circles on my thigh and my foot that was bouncing up and down stopping as I glance over at him.“This is a bad idea.” I tell him and he shakes his head. “Everything will go fine. The spells set, we just have to act normal. Which means you need to straighten up.” Cole responds and I nod as I nervously look over towards the street they’ll come down.Calm down… Everything will be fine…The first car pulls around the corner and I see the line of cars pull up behind it. All of them parking and slowly getting out of their cars, looking around at all the changes already.Alpha Charles is the first one to start talking. “Hope you don’t mind, Liam. A few of the wives wanted to catch up with Amy and help get her b

“Our pack is still having some growing pains. I think we should hold the meeting at your pack, and I can send my son and Beta.” I tell Renolds. With Amy acting the way she is, I’m even more worried about what will happen if they come here.“No. We need to come to your pack. In order to make this alliance work and you know that. The Alphas won’t care that you guys are fixing what your son broke. We need to see that things are getting back in order. We need to see you, none of us want to deal with your son.” He growls, and I shake my head, frustrated.Renolds sighs into the phone, “Look, the Alphas are still wary about your son. And you know I take partial blame for what happened to your pack to begin with, if I never would have brought her there…” He pauses, “I’m trying to help fix things, but I need you to meet me half-way, Liam. I know your mate is still ill and we’ll respect that, but they need to see your pack for themselves.” Renolds explains and I let out a heavy breath.“Fine.”

Tick… Tock… Tick… Tock… I swear I can hear the imaginary clock ticking as I stare at the ceiling. Dallas has tried to get my attention several times, and Liam’s been mind-linking me, but I’m ignoring them both.I just need a minute to breathe… Just one minute where no one is in my head. Granted that’s never the case… Not anymore, but she’s being quiet today.I close my eyes, and I’m suddenly overwhelmed with a sick feeling filling my stomach. I have to jump out of bed, and I barley make it to the toilet before I spill the contents of my stomach into it.“Amy?” Dallas’s worried voice echos through my cell, as I groan. I start to wonder how different Dallas’s life would be if I wasn’t around. There’s a chance he wouldn’t have found Nick, but there’s always a chance he would have, and they’d be happy right now, rather than miserable and lonely.“I’m fine.” I croak out, my voice cracking. I walk over to the sink grabbing the cup and filling it with water before chugging it down. “Maybe I

Now that I’ve spoken to the witch inside my head, it’s like that’s where my mind automatically goes every time I fall asleep. It’s really not helping my state of mind. No matter how much sleep I get, it’s never enough. Mostly, because it feels like I’m getting none. Then I have the witch talking inside my head all day, and I swear I still hear a whisper of that other random voice I heard the first time.I still don’t know who that is, and I refuse to confront the witch about it, anything I can do so she doesn’t feel like she’s winning is a win to me, and I feel like if I said something this would be a win for her.“Hello, Amy.” She says cheerfully once I wake up in my wolf’s sanctuary. I take a deep breath and prepare for the worse. I’m honestly not sure if I’m really here or not. It could be a dream, because she never brings up anything we talk about in here, but I just don’t think that’s the case.I roll my eyes at her and look over at Leah. She’s sleeping, which she always is when

I throw my phone down on the table and glare out the window. “What was the about?” Griffon walks into the office and sits down in the chair across the desk.I grunt as I make my way over to the bar and pour myself some whiskey and downing the whole glass.I don’t know how this is going to go. I don’t know what questions they’re going to ask. This could end really badly.I look over at Griffon. “The Alpha’s want a meeting.” I tell him and his eyes widen, then his face hardens. “They’re mad about me.” He says, and I shake my head. “They’re mad about everything, and they said the only way they’ll even consider letting us in as allies is if we sit down and talk about it.” I tell him and he shakes his head. “Fuck.” He hisses under his breath, and I nod.“Okay… Well, when do you have to leave?” He asks, and I stare at him for a moment. “I’m not. They insisted on coming here.” I tell him and he shakes his head standing up. “They can’t come here. What if they find mom?” He asks, and I take a
