LOGINSoleil I met Quillon when I ran from home. He was rude. I expected that from a rogue like him, but he still offered help. Or maybe I pushed him to help? It doesn't matter. There was no way I thought I'd be safe outside the comfort of my home, but with him, I felt free and in solace. But he was so broken, shattered, and I don't know why I kept feeling like he was keeping something... Quillon She came the day I decided to give up. Being the Alpha King's target for years and concealing myself so I wouldn't be found has been a pain in the ass. But this woman came, and my mind was set that I wouldn't help her. Then, after letting her pass out outside my tent, I found out that she was my mate. I was thrilled to know I got a fated one, but I decided to conceal our bond. So she wouldn't know that she was mine... and I was hers. ** If you have read Call Me Alpha and Alpha of the Shadows, Quillon was mentioned in these stories. It's better if you read those books first, so you'll have a better understanding of Quillon, my love. Anyway, enjoy reading!

Prologue
Quillon
I dropped the last werewolf alive with a single twist of his neck. His dead body fell on my feet, limp and silent.
‘They found us too fast this time,’ my wolf said.
It hasn't been a week since the last encounter I had with the Alpha King’s hunters, and they have already found my new hideout.
Zeron, the werewolf realm’s Alpha King, was hell-bent on capturing me. He wanted the power I was born with, gifted by the heavens and moon goddesses.
“It can't be helped. I used my powers recently, Zeron caught up quickly.” I answered my wolf.
The powers inside me were the same as the Alpha King's. It was also the reason why he wanted me under his command.
Or maybe he wanted me dead.
‘I think he wants us dead. Those hunters were aiming for the kill, not to capture.’
My wolf was right. I sighed.
I've been trying to do the same power tracking with Zeron, but I haven't grasped the capability of my power.
If only I could have known where he was, then I could've brought my parents back. To save them.
“Don't come for us!” My mother's words echoed in my head. “Live, my son, don’t save us!”
The memories of the time they were taken were etched in my memory like a leech. There's no way I'll continue living normally without them being safe and free.
It's been years, and my goal hasn't changed: To find my parents and save them.
‘What now?’ my wolf asked, bored.
I looked around, and the corpses of the werewolves I killed were scattered everywhere.
“We’ll find another spot.”
Like a stray rogue, I need to find another place to hide from.
Again.
Soleil
"This is your fate! You should follow what I say!" my father's voice echoed like thunder. The hairs on my body stood as I trembled. Not with fear, but because of his power as the alpha that holds me. And though I hate to admit, I am under that power.
"You are not listening to me, Father. I won't marry! I don't want to marry some stranger!"
My father's shoulder trembled in silent laughter. "You think you had a choice? You don’t, Soleil."
I can feel my blood boiling. It was the truth. Once you meet your mate, no matter if you know who they are or not, fate will bind them together.
But I always believed that would be my case. I believed I’ll find my mate the same way everyone does. To be with my fated one. Now, my father makes sure I’ll receive his blessing to marry just anyone he picked for me!
The rebellion forming in my head has reflected in my expression, and it didn't escaped my father's eyes.
He sighed. "You're leaving me with no choice." He motioned for his right-hand man, Callix. "Lock her up and don't let her escape," then he turned to me. "You will wait until I fix things with your soon-to-be husband. In the meantime, I revoke all your privileges as my daughter."
My eyes widened, looking back and forth to Callix, who started to walk towards me.
"You can't do this to me!"
But all I see was my father's back as he started to walk away.
There’s always no one on my side. If only my mother was still alive, she wouldn’t let my father do this to me!
Callix grabbed my arm and started dragging me out of the hall.
This place might be grand, a total luxury, everything anyone could ask for.
But there is certainly one thing it lacked in my eyes.
Freedom.
And I will do everything to get that. Even if it means I throw everything I have, everything I am.
Even if I have to go rogue.
Chapter TwentySevenSoleil"I don't know where to start," He paused, sighing deeply like he needed the air so much right now. "Or how."I pursed my lips as I watched him collect himself. He looked bothered, unruly, and lost. And I know--I can feel it--I know his mind goes back to everything that happened. He doesn't know how to give me answers without reliving the memories he had.I should feel remorse towards him. I wanted to tell him that it's okay, that he doesn't need to tell me.But I can't.I wanted this. I want to know. But I also understand him."Maybe just narrow it down to the things I think I deserve to know about."He chuckled without humor. "There's no narrowing down this thing, princess." He looked at me, a smug smirk plastered on his face. The blank pit I saw in his eyes brought me shivers.Cold. He looked at me with those cold eyes, the browns almost got waved off by a shade darker.I looked away before my tail got tucked deep between my ass cheeks. Damn. Quillon looks
Chapter TwentySixSoleilI woke up and was welcomed with a blinding darkness. There are no open lights, and the sunrays coming from the window when I slept weren't there anymore. What time is it?After eating breakfast, it only took two yawns and I was out. My body ached like crazy from the long run, and my mind was almost melting. It took me a minute before I noticed that there was a heavy thing on my stomach, and another minute for me to realize that the weight was an arm of a man.I groaned.Of course, Quillon would sleep beside me. He was as exhausted as I was, and he needed his fill--doesn't matter if I was dead asleep, it seems.Ugh. That was irritating. Why did I sign up for this?I was sleeping on my side and he was almost spooning me in this position.I couldn't stop admiring how good his warmth feels lingering on my back. There was comfort, satisfaction, and I liked it. Even though I'd hate to admit it, I really enjoyed waking up like this with him every time. Sometimes I ha
Chapter Twenty FiveQuillonAfter showing Soleil where my usual cabin is, I didn't bother giving her a tour inside and left her shouting curses at me outside the cabin door. She was mad, alright, and I get why she felt that way. I also knew I needed to do what I did, hiding some facts from her, scaring her... That latter wasn't necessary, but well, it was entertaining. The angry yelling and dagger-like glare weren't close to entertainment, and I had the need to get out of her way, so I did.Don't get me started with the cabin I've been using ever since I can remember, and being in that same studio-type cabin with my mate. Gun to my head.I headed straight to Dylan's library because I knew he'd be there waiting for a report. He knew I never came for unannounced visits, unless it's an emergency."Any survivor?" Dylan asked, raising a brow as I sat on a couch facing him."And let them report back to Zeron? Come on. I'd never let a soul slip, you knew me better than that."He hmm-ed and s
Chapter TwentyFourSoleilTen years ago, I lost my mother to a curse that my father himself couldn't cure or break.I was eight years old at that time.My father, Zeron, the Alpha King of the werewolf realm, possesses a powerful wolf, was changed after our loss. For me, his heart was too broken with the loss of my mother, and it showed. But I don't know what's happening behind his closed doors. He was always angry and that's my earliest memory of him.Two years after my mom's death and I was ten years old, he started giving weird commands to the hunters and trackers of our pack. His focus changed. During the two years he spent as a hermit, he also spent researching a certain boy.'You need to capture that boy, Callix! I need that boy!'That's what I heard him say once. From then on, trackers and hunters went to look for that boy.None came back. And now I know why.Quillon was the boy my father was talking about with his right-hand man.The mark on the dead hunter's arm was the symbol
Chapter FourteenQuillonMy wolf growled inside me as I watched Soleil. Her being beneath me like this makes my pulse beat ten times faster. The imagination I had doesn't compare with how she looks right now.Her eyes were wide, but I could see the glimmer of arousal in them. The way her lips parted
Chapter NineSoleilHe was taken!Damn it!It must be it!I strode towards my tent with heavy steps. My nose was probably shooting fires from how hot my face felt. When that woman,
Chapter TwelveSoleil"A whole pack," I repeated. "Are you kidding?"I couldn't believe it. I really can't.I never heard of anyone wiping out a whole werewolf pack. It was physically impossible for that to be done by only one man."You gotta believe it. It did happen. Told you, he was famous." Kat
Chapter TwentySoleil"STOP!"My shrieking scream came out firm. There was something that happened. And I felt it. Like a wave crashed on us, hard, and Quillon tensed. His canines sank a bit into my flesh, but he stopped.Thank fuck he stopped. Then I felt something again, like a wall, draping betw
