LOGINSoleil I met Quillon when I ran from home. He was rude. I expected that from a rogue like him, but he still offered help. Or maybe I pushed him to help? It doesn't matter. There was no way I thought I'd be safe outside the comfort of my home, but with him, I felt free and in solace. But he was so broken, shattered, and I don't know why I kept feeling like he was keeping something... Quillon She came the day I decided to give up. Being the Alpha King's target for years and concealing myself so I wouldn't be found has been a pain in the ass. But this woman came, and my mind was set that I wouldn't help her. Then, after letting her pass out outside my tent, I found out that she was my mate. I was thrilled to know I got a fated one, but I decided to conceal our bond. So she wouldn't know that she was mine... and I was hers. ** If you have read Call Me Alpha and Alpha of the Shadows, Quillon was mentioned in these stories. It's better if you read those books first, so you'll have a better understanding of Quillon, my love. Anyway, enjoy reading!
View MoreThis is Quillon's story and the third book in the Rare Wolf series.
As always, please read at your own risk. This story contains explicit scenes, 18+ (which we all love), and an abundance of love and butterflies that may crawl in your stomach to create havoc in your system.
Okay, I'm babbling.
Anyway, keep calm and wait for Quillon. I'm excited about this, and I hope you'll like it the same way you liked the other books of the Rare Wolf series!
Love ya!

Prologue
Quillon
I dropped the last werewolf alive with a single twist of his neck. His dead body fell on my feet, limp and silent.
‘They found us too fast this time,’ my wolf said.
It hasn't been a week since the last encounter I had with the Alpha King’s hunters, and they have already found my new hideout.
Zeron, the werewolf realm’s Alpha King, was hell-bent on capturing me. He wanted the power I was born with, gifted by the heavens and moon goddesses.
“It can't be helped. I used my powers recently, Zeron caught up quickly.” I answered my wolf.
The powers inside me were the same as the Alpha King's. It was also the reason why he wanted me under his command.
Or maybe he wanted me dead.
‘I think he wants us dead. Those hunters were aiming for the kill, not to capture.’
My wolf was right. I sighed.
I've been trying to do the same power tracking with Zeron, but I haven't grasped the capability of my power.
If only I could have known where he was, then I could've brought my parents back. To save them.
“Don't come for us!” My mother's words echoed in my head. “Live, my son, don’t save us!”
The memories of the time they were taken were etched in my memory like a leech. There's no way I'll continue living normally without them being safe and free.
It's been years, and my goal hasn't changed: To find my parents and save them.
‘What now?’ my wolf asked, bored.
I looked around, and the corpses of the werewolves I killed were scattered everywhere.
“We’ll find another spot.”
Like a stray rogue, I need to find another place to hide from.
Again.
Soleil
"This is your fate! You should follow what I say!" my father's voice echoed like thunder. The hairs on my body stood as I trembled. Not with fear, but because of his power as the alpha that holds me. And though I hate to admit, I am under that power.
"You are not listening to me, Father. I won't marry! I don't want to marry some stranger!"
My father's shoulder trembled in silent laughter. "You think you had a choice? You don’t, Soleil."
I can feel my blood boiling. It was the truth. Once you meet your mate, no matter if you know who they are or not, fate will bind them together.
But I always believed that would be my case. I believed I’ll find my mate the same way everyone does. To be with my fated one. Now, my father makes sure I’ll receive his blessing to marry just anyone he picked for me!
The rebellion forming in my head has reflected in my expression, and it didn't escaped my father's eyes.
He sighed. "You're leaving me with no choice." He motioned for his right-hand man, Callix. "Lock her up and don't let her escape," then he turned to me. "You will wait until I fix things with your soon-to-be husband. In the meantime, I revoke all your privileges as my daughter."
My eyes widened, looking back and forth to Callix, who started to walk towards me.
"You can't do this to me!"
But all I see was my father's back as he started to walk away.
There’s always no one on my side. If only my mother was still alive, she wouldn’t let my father do this to me!
Callix grabbed my arm and started dragging me out of the hall.
This place might be grand, a total luxury, everything anyone could ask for.
But there is certainly one thing it lacked in my eyes.
Freedom.
And I will do everything to get that. Even if it means I throw everything I have, everything I am.
Even if I have to go rogue.
Chapter NineteenQuillonI know I lied, but what could I say aside from the truth? I hated how she kept on pushing me toward another woman. Soleil didn't think I was her mate, but I still felt betrayed and rejected when she insisted there was a woman out there somewhere for me.I wanted to laugh at myself when she called our bond pull as my wolf problems. And for a moment right there, I wanted to snap the lock concealing our mate bond just so both of us would deal with this wolf problem.Of course, I didn't.Soleil and I walked back to the clearing in a silence that deafened me enough to play with my thoughts. What was she thinking? Why did she agree? Was it sincerely just because of doing me a favor? Not that I'm complaining.I don't want to read too much into it. I'd settle with this. With her letting me close. I'm done pushing her away, and fuck if I wasn't bothered when she was the one doing the pushing."Where are you going?" I asked when we reached the clearing, and she walked t
Chapter EighteenSoleilI stopped breathing because once again, Quillon has trapped me. His body was so close, his scent fucking with my head, and his warmth coiled around me like a vice. It's hard not to keep on craving it, craving him, when he's this close.Still, I regained my posture and acted like I wasn't bothered, even when my insides were in chaos."That's not how mate bond works--""Fuck how it works, Soleil."My teeth bared. "If you don't care about mate bonds, I do and--"His palm slammed back on the tree above my head and I flinched.Fuck.He looked scary right now but he also looked delicious. I didn't know those two feelings were possible to have at the same time."Shut the fuck up and listen to what I'm saying. I. Fucking. Want. You!"The possessiveness in his voice made me gasp but I quickly growled, not backing down."I'm not having sex with you just to scratch your itch. If you don't care about the bond, I do! It matters to me, I believe in it! So want me and all lik
Chapter SeventeenSoleil"W-What?"My heart feels like it's jumping out of my chest from how hard it was beating. My whole body shivers with something close to a need that I couldn't define. He inhaled on my neck again, his lips brushing on a spot that made me close my eyes."I need your body close to me like this every second you're near." He said, sounding almost like a confession.I don't understand him at all. Everything he was saying reached something deep inside of me but I couldn't pinpoint which. It affects me. He affects me.But this is wrong. This is not supposed to be happening..."Are you out of your mind--" He cut my whispers with tightening his arm around my waist. There was no space between us right now. I could feel something hard poking on my butt, pulsating like it's alive.Fuck, it was his cock. He was rock hard and he let me feel it!"You're right, I am. You're a distraction I never knew I'll ever have, and now I can't stop myself anymore. I'm more out of my mind w
Chapter SixteenSoleil'He's coming! He's coming!''Can you please calm down? Please!' I groaned inwardly when my wolf continued pacing back and forth.Quillon's footsteps sound louder as he walks towards me.He wanted me to know he's coming, I guessed, since he didn't try to hide his presence or movements like he used to.And my wolf has been restless.Since that night when he hovered over me, I couldn't stop feeling something stirring inside of me.At first, I thought it was irritation or annoyance, but I kept on having these tingling, unfamiliar things coiling around my body every time I think of him or when he was near.My wolf feels it, too.I decided to ignore him most of the time and it was easy when Shade and Kat was around. But now that we're alone, I know we'll bump into each other again. Not this soon, though. It was weird because while I hated the thought, I also felt excitement of some sort.Very, very weird."Hey," Quillon's voice was low and calculating but I still flin
