A few hours later, Amy finally wakes up, and just stares at the ceiling. She doesn’t say anything but gives both of us a small smile, and lifts herself over me and off the bed walking to her room. We both follow her, and she heads straight for the shower. Once she shuts the door on us, Dallas and I look at each other, hoping like hell she isn’t regressing.

She comes out in her towel, as Dallas and I wait on her bed. She sees us and smiles rolling her eyes, then heads inside her closet to get dressed. When she walks out in jean shorts and t-shirt, I instantly know we’ll be going outside today. I was hoping that she’d want to rest today, but I would guess that’s not happening. She walks over to me and throws her body into my lap; my arms instantly wrap around her tightly.

Once she’s gotten whatever strength she needs from me she stands up and holds out a hand to both Dallas and me. We both happily take her hands and we let her lead us to wherever she wants to take us.

In all the time I’ve loved Liam, I never would have guessed he would do this to me.But I can’t deny what happened, while lingering pains shoot through my body and I sit crunched over on the ground on top of a mountain.“Amy.” Liam’s pleading soft voice reaches my ears, and I look down shaking my head. How could he do this to me?Dallas growls and I watch as his feet step closer to me. “What do you mean, ‘what did you do?’ What did he do?” Dallas growls and I slowly look up at him.The pain slowly dissolving and I begin to try and stand again. I don’t answer Dallas, letting my eyes do the talking for me. I can’t say the words. I can’t even believe it’s real.“Amy. It’s not what you think.” Liam claims and I shut my eyes, trying to stop the tears that are falling freely down my face.Dallas growls and wraps his arm around my waist and pulls me into his chest. “What did you do, Liam?” Dallas grits out.I can’t look at him. I can’t see his face after what he’s done.Dallas’s hand around

The stress of the last few weeks is really starting to get to me. I can’t sleep with my mate, I can’t be alone with her, and I know it’s killing her as much as it is me. Which in return is only making me feel worse.I haven’t been able to sleep, so I sit downstairs on the couch watching tv all night and doing some work here and there.I haven’t started training Griffon again, not until he proves to me that he’s not some immature teenager who throws a fit every time he gets grumpy. The way he’s treating his mother is disturbing, I don’t think they’ve talked since we talked to him in the office. He says that Nadia found the necklace, and the place she found it could be where it was, but we all have searched around there, many times. Wanting to find the necklace for Amy. She didn’t want to wear it, but it was still important to her. Something she had from her mother, since she doesn’t have much left after she burned her house to the ground.I walk into the office not long after Amy leave

“There has to to be a way to locate her, Hazel.” I beg her to come up with something, anything. She shakes her head, “I can only do a locator spell on someone when I have something of theirs.” She says looking at me apologetically.A loud grunt leaves me as I throw my back into the chair. There has to be something we can do. Has to be something to help us find this witch.Liam, while better, is still distant and always makes sure there’s someone in the room with us at all times. He doesn’t even sleep in our room right now, too scared the witch might hex him while he’s sleeping and not willing to risk it. He claims the only reason he did it when I was in heat was because of the bodyguards just outside the door and we can’t ask our friends to sit outside our door for the foreseeable future.Dallas still won’t leave me alone. He sleeps on the couch in our room, closer to me than my own mate. He says with Griffon acting up he’s even more inclined to stay here.Cole glances up at me from b

What the hell is wrong with everybody? Why does everybody think I’m going to hurt them? Am I really not allowed to get angry without everyone thinking I going to kill them?Everyone hates my mate, and they just expect me to be okay with that? Expect me to just sit back and let them all talk shit on her?I slow my walk just as the fresh air hits my face from opening the front door. I step outside onto the porch and look towards the sky. Why did she have that necklace?“Hey.” I hear whispered next to me, and I look over to see Aspen sitting on the chair on my porch. “Aspen.” I whisper back and go to sit on the chair next to hers. Though hesitantly, but she doesn’t tell me to fuck off, so I take that as invitation. We sit there in silence for far too long before she finally talks. “I knew you wouldn’t hurt me.” She whispers and I close my eyes and swing my head towards her. “Really? Because apparently hurting people is my thing now.” I tell her, still angry with my dad for even suggestin

Liam and I wait inside the office for Griffon to come in. He’s not going to like what we have to say. It never ends well when someone questions your mate, but we have to warn him that not everything might be on the up and up.Griffon walks in slowly, eyeing us suspiciously. “Am I in trouble?” He asks and I want so badly to say yes. The fact that he Alpha commanded Aspen alone is enough for him to be in trouble, but he’s grown now. There’s not much we can do about it, other than making it right.“You’ll take the Alpha command off Aspen.” Liam says sternly and Griffon’s mouth slackens in return. “Are you kidding me? She was being disrespectful to her future Alpha and Luna!” He says and I look at him like I’ve never seen him before.“Don’t look at me like that! You don’t tolerate disrespect.” He says pointing his finger at me. “No, I earn their respect and keep it. I’ve never felt the need to have Liam Alpha command respect for me. We don’t do that, and you know it.” I tell him and he gl

Why would she have my necklace? Better yet, how does she have my necklace? We lost it after the fight with my dad, never to be seen again, until now.“Guys! You have to get out of there!” Liam whisper yells through the door. We all look between each other.“Do we take it?” Dallas asks quietly and grimace. If we take it, she’ll know someone was in here. If we don’t, who knows what she has planned for it.“We’re taking it.” Hazel says absolutely, leaving no room for argument. I nod and we all rush to leave the room.We all make it into the room, shutting the door as soon as we hear the front door opening and Cole’s booming voice entering the house. He must have stopped to talk to them, trying to distract them.Liam looks at the container, “What is it?” He asks and Hazel looks at him worried, before handing it over.Liam takes it from her hands, and his eyes widen as soon as he opens it, looking over at me. “Are we sure?” He asks, and I shrug. “Could she have gotten a similar one anywher

“He did what?” I whisper as Mia stands in the middle of the room looking between Liam and me. She looks at me with pity and says it again. “He Alpha commanded her.” She repeats and my eyes move to Walker like I need confirmation.I look over at Liam after Walker confirms it, and he looks at me worried before turning to look back at our friends. “She told you this?” They both shake their heads. “Finn and Randy told Cole, and he told us, and though Aspen wouldn’t confirm it, she’s really upset. I know something happened.” Mia explains, and my eyes close. How could he do this? He knows we don’t Alpha command people unless it’s necessary. “We’ll talk to him. And if he won’t fix it, I will.” Liam tells them and they both nod.“Why?” I ask them and Mia looks at me confused, but Walker understands. “He said she needed to respect his future Alpha and Luna.” Walker explains. While that is true, Aspen and Griffon have always pushed the limits when it comes to that. It’s not new for Aspen to tal

My head spins as I take a step away from Lenny. “You know me. I don’t understand where this is coming from.” I tell him, looking at him like he just killed my cat.His face is full of pity, “Just go worry about your mate. Maybe once everything calms down, everything will get better.” He whispers to me, and I shake my head, and look over his shoulder at Aspen.“I know you’re upset about me finding my mate, but you’re really going to turn everyone against me?” I snap at her and her eyes widen, and she pushes Lenny out of in front of her.She steps closer to me, and places one finger on my chest. “You.” Poke. “Are.” Poke. “The one.” Poke. “Doing this.” She drops her hand and glares at me. “Don’t blame me, because you can’t figure out the shit with your mate.” She says sternly. My eyes narrow on her yet again, but nothing comes out. I can’t seem to get my thoughts together enough to speak. I had no idea everyone felt this way. But do they or is Aspen putting shit into their heads. They’ve

I leave my parent’s office, determined to do better by my mate. I’ve been trying to make her feel more comfortable around me, but clearly it isn’t working. All I want is to be with her, but she always seems to want to be somewhere else. Even when she’s with me.I knock on her door, and there’s no answer. I knock again, and again there’s no answer. I finally creek the door open, “Nadia?” I ask the empty room. She’s not here. Surprise, surprise.I close my eyes and bend my head towards the ceiling, letting out a deep breath. Why didn’t she tell me where she was going?I search around the house and nothing, so I decide to look around the pack. The idea of the witch that’s trying to kill my mom getting Nadia, making me walk a little faster.I don’t feel like she’s actually in danger, but my minds making me feel like it’s a possibility.I search everywhere before finally making my way towards the park, where I run into Aspen, Finn, Randy and surprisingly Lenny.I know I’m older than them,
