THIRD PERSON POV
Adonai gulped hard and balled his fists, "Damnit!" He cussed. "What a wrong person at the right time" Elon rushed to Nirvana and pulled her away from the doorstep before closing the door. Even though, he'd yelled on her over the phone, his voice was still soft as he asked, "Why are you here?" Nirvana was dumbfounded, looking like a fragile leaf. "Gamma Adonai was alive all these while?" "Nirv... there's an explanation for that" Elon tried to say. "He didn't hide it intentionally, but he had to do something and..." "Balqis is gone" She muttered. "Yesterday night, Mum said she doesn't come back home and left before the club closed which means she..." "I will go find her, Elon" Adonai concluded without giving Nirvana a face or listen to her jabs. "Even if I had to fight a tyrant as Gwi, I will make sure to get her back!" Nirvana and Elon doesn't say anything but watched as he pulled the mask that was lying on the table to his face. His expression was grime and he made to leave the room but stopped beside Nirvana, and looked at her with disgust. "I will forgive you" He whispered. "Not because I wanted to. But because you and your mum take care of her even though just a little and you're the reason why I met her" Elon was about to talk, but Adonai was out of room before then. Nirvana and Elon looked at each other and Nirvana who never told Elon about her sin with Julius gulped, and quickly left his presence before he could ask any questions. He plunged back into the forest to meet with Gwi and ask him what he's done with the baby he cunningly take from Balqis. It was against the rule the rule that Gwi set for all revenant to come to his office without calling for them. But since he wasn't called for, the invincible guard before Gwi's door stopped him. "Come out now!!" he yelled painfully. "Come out and tell me where you kept my child!" The other men under Gwi's command like Darkmoon and others entered the grand hall in the downstairs, to watch the tirade because no one has ever raised their voice at Gwi before. Adonai became more frustrated as he tried bargain in, but the invincible force pushed him back again. "Shame on you! Shame on you for keep grown up men here to kill for you!" These words forced the door opened abruptly. Sooner, Adonai was face to face with Gwi himself, but as usual, he had a mask on just like his men are obligated to have. Adonai barged in and tried approaching him, but out of nowhere, shads of broken glasses aimed st him. He was scared momentarily, and stopped. He watched Gwi's lips shift into a smirk. "I have known you have something to do with that girl" Adonai breathed heavily. "That baby is mine!" Gwi got up from his seat and walked to the edge of the table, "What made you think I took the baby away? Its obviously dead" "Lies! Lies!" He scoffed. "I saw what you did when the mother was holding the baby. I saw everything including the fake woman that accompanied you!" Gwi laughed hysterically. "Did you know why I purposely forbid you especially from letting anyone know you're alive?" Adonai said nothing and didn'tige because the shards of glasses was still aimed to shoot into his body at any time. Gwi continued, "You have something that I never had" "What is that?" He asked, confused and was also surveying the room, for a way to get out of the glass shards. Gwi walked around the table, his expression grave. "What if I tell you that I orchested the plance crash so you can end up here?" Adonai's heart dropped. "You say what?" Gwi wasn't looking his way all through this, and Adonai was busy looking for how to strike, but found none. Gwi laughed. "I have always been in your shadow!" his laughter turned dry and sadly. "Everyone chose you and never me! She also chose you.... against me" By the time he stopped talking, Adonai was already behind him, fuming, his wolf threatening to burst out of his body and attack. Gwi doesn't flinch. "This is my turf, Adonai and I've already turned you into a revenant. If you leave here, you'll still be different" "I don't care" he promised. "So far no other person fall into your dubious trap then I'm cool" "Adonai, you're playing with fire" Gwi laughed evenly again. "Did you know I gave you that life and I can take it back?" As he was saying this, he was was slowly backing off, and Adonai was following. Just as Gwi was about to grab the small staff he uses to control all the men under his wing, Adonai ripped off his mask from the left side revealing half of his face and the face he saw first threw him off balance. "Ju... Julius?"THIRD PERSON POV Adonai gulped hard and balled his fists, "Damnit!" He cussed. THIRD PERSON POVMrs Kathy was becoming more madder as she clawed at her daughter. "if Balqis slipped from our gasps then my life would be over!!" "Stop acting like this mum and tell me what the fuck happened between you two!" Nirvana yelled, her eyes blazing with anger. "Remember she must not know about the account book?" Mrs Kathy fidgeted, "Actually, it wasn't my fault. I really don't want to...." "Mum!!" Nirvana panicked. "How can you let a preganant girl see the wrongs we did? How did you expect her to feel not seeing the money she worked so hard for?" The mother and daughter were frustrated beyond doubts. Nirvana and her mother had planned beforehand that they would use Balqis to make more money before disposing her while pretending to care for her. Now that the money making girl is gone, the mother and daughter knows this was their end. Still standing there, analyzing the next dark turn of life, Nirvana's phone rang and she picked the urgent call from her husband, Alpha
BALQIS’S POVI ran through the woods despite my condition, my whole body raging with fire I couldn’t quench.Thankfully, the sun was still up in the sky.Nobody was chasing me, no one sent me out, but I had to leave. There’s actually a limit to everything and I think this is how far I could go.All these months of dancing through my heavy condition, faced different humiliation, harassment, and mischaps, with the hope of smooth landing before giving birth to my child only to hear that my source of earning can only come from sleeping with men?If she had told me before signing the contract, then I wouldn’t have gon to such extents to expect anything from such a vile woman as Mrs Kathy.I leaned against a tree and breathed erratically for a while before slumping to the ground due to the sharp pain that has suddenly rose to my abdomen.I groaned when a ache invaded my head from nowhere. “This is not the time to feel tired” I said to myself and tried standing up to go back but the pain h
BALQIS'S POV I wasn't a normal person again. It feels like my life has been stole from me after we left the orthodontist. Everything I do, my mind was only on one person. That same person was always in my dream, haunting me with beautiful scenes that I can never imagine to have in real life. If there's anything I regret in my entire life, then it was the day I walked with my two legs to Adonai's home. I have to deal with not only the preheat and my commanding family, but now with the trauma that he's alive or maybe a look alike? The man that I saw at the doctor's place was Adonai no doubt about him. I thought I had forgotten his face, or maybe I mistook it, but it's him. Adonai is alive, and not dead. But why is he finding me stealthily? I really wanted to clutch his dress and ask him countless questions, demand the reason why he was alive, but he disappeared on me again. "Don't try to find that man, it might put yours and your baby's life in danger" That was wh
THIRD PERSON POV He ran until his legs almost gave way. As he ran through the woods behind the Orthodox hospital, the wind pulled off the wig he had on, and the long golden hair was revealed. His tall frame, which made him look unrecognizable, was the result of the outfit he had on, pulled off more than he had. He got a lush patch of field and fell. His chest heaved heavily with sadness, and a little trace of tears appeared near his eyes, but he pushed it back with all the power he had."Why did I go there?" He questioned himself as his chest was still heaving bitterly. Still there, A Ferrari Masterati Sports car sped up beside him from the tarred road beside, and another man came out and rushed to him. "Gamma, are you fine?" The concerned fellow tried pulling him up. Gamma Adonai refused to bulge, as he ran his hand through his hair harshly, and for the first time since Alpha King Elon (Nirvana's husband) knew Adonai, who was his best friend, he saw him cry. Elon quickly pulled
BALQIS’S POVMy eyes flung open at the ring of the bell against my ear.The lights are on again, and the first person I saw was the doctor, who carried a small bell. “Seems like she’s coming back to life,” he said, then rang the bell again. I guess this is all it takes to bring me back from the realm of darkness that I’d suddenly wandered into. “Balqis?” I heard Mrs Kathy’s voice, and I slowly turned my head. She was also beside me, with Nirvana and a few of the other strippers. “Can you see me now?” I tried talking, but I couldn't see her, and my voice seemed to be buried away. The doctor leaned away, “She’s really a strong kid. No one has ever game back after being bitten by a Gamma revenant.” “Gamma revenant?” Mrs. Kathy asked in my stead, and the doctor nodded. He faced me and examined my neck, and pressed on a particular spot that sent chills down my spine. I whined. The memory of the man biting me with fangs juggle,d in and I groaned. ‘Rina?’ I called out to my wolf at t
