BALQIS’S POV “What are you doing?” Julius, my mate, snapped as I removed his dick from my mouth. I couldn’t gulp. My saliva had turned thick and salty from the blow jobs I gave him for the past two hours, trying to please him. “S...Sorry. I was just tired,” I mumbled. “You cut off my pleasure, is sorry gonna fix that?” He glared at me, obviously very furious. I sighed with exhaustion. I had to persuade him now too. “Baby, I’ve been doing that for two hours now, and you came twice in my mouth so I..." “I came twice in your mouth, and you’re tired already?” He sneered. “If I marry you, is this the attitude you’ll keep up?” “Julius, I..." “I don’t want to hear it!” He cut me off harshly and got off the bed hastily. “Thanks to you, I lost my appetite for sex!” I also got out of bed, standing fully naked before him. “Julius, I don’t mean it that way. I’m not just used to anal and..." He scoffed. “Not used to anal? Satisfying your man is so hard for you, right?”

Balqis’s POV One month has passed since that terrible night at Adonai’s place. I’d thrown myself into work at the club, dancing until my body gave out, trying to forget Julius, and trying to forget the touch of Adonai’s hand against my skin. But my body had another plans. “Bally, are you vomiting again?” Nirvana asked from the living room. I flushed the stench and came out of the bathroom exhaustedly. “I really don’t know what I ate. Perhaps I danced too much last night. Can I borrow a few cents to get some drugs?” “Go check my purse, you’ll see some change in there.” “You’re not getting any drugs!” Mrs Kathy, my stepmom, interrupted, coming into the living room. We both looked back. “Why did you say that mum? She’s been vomiting for the past two days now.” Nirvana said, frowning in confusion. “Are you both idiots?” Mrs Kathy fired angrily, and both Nirvana and I frowned in confusion. “Balqis is pregnant!!” Mrs Kathy announced before grabbing the remote cont

Balqis's POV I danced like there's no tomorrow again tonight. Nirvana was behind me, backing each dance up and was wearing a mask like me. All these while, the whole crowd was cheering, the man sitting in the deep corner of the parlour wasn't reacting. I wondered what kind of man he was. However, after two hours, my body has stared to become giddy and reluctant to heed to my response. My mask only concealed my identity but never my pregnancy and I could hear some men already whispering how a pregnant dancer could still perform this well. When I felt I can't take it anymore, I stumbled out of the dancefloor, coughing and clutching my chest. My throat has tightened up, as if air couldn't come in, I'd danced too much as which this heavy pregnancy....Mrs Kathy opened the door to the background urgently and rushed to me. "What happened to you, Bally? Are you fine?" I continued coughing, as my heart and my chest needed more air. She fanned me despite the Air conditioning, and manage

BALQIS’S POV My eyes flung open at the ring of the bell against my ear. The lights came on, and the first person I saw was the doctor, who carried a small bell. “Seems like she’s coming back to life,” he said, then rang the bell again. I guess this is all it takes to bring me back from the realm of darkness that I’d suddenly wandered into. “Balqis?” I heard Mrs Kathy’s voice, and I slowly turned my head. She was also beside me, with Nirvana and a few of the other strippers. “Can you see me now?” I tried talking, but my voice had been buried away. The doctor leaned away, “She’s really a strong kid. No one had ever come back after being bitten by a Gamma revenant.” “Gamma revenant?” Mrs. Kathy asked in my stead, and the doctor nodded. “Revenants are shifters who died but somehow resurrected” He explained as he examined my neck, then pressed on a particular spot that sent chills down my spine. I whined. The memory of the man biting me with fangs juggled in and I groaned.

BALQIS’S POV I wasn’t a normal person again. It felt like my life has been stolen from me after we left the orthodontist. Everything I did, my mind was only on one person. That same person was always in my dream, haunting me with beautiful scenes that I can never imagine to have in real life. If there’s anything I regret in my entire life, then it was the day I walked with my two legs to Adonai’s home. I had to deal with not only the pregnancy as controlling family, now with the trauma that he’s alive or maybe a look alike? The man that I saw at the doctor’s place was Adonai no doubt about him. I thought I had forgotten his face, or maybe I mistook it, but it’s him. Adonai is alive, and not dead. But why is he finding me stealthily? I really wanted to clutch his dress and ask him countless questions, demand the reason why he was alive, but he disappeared on me again. “Don’t try to find that man, it might put yours and your baby’s life in danger” That was what the
