Chapter 2: The Staring Bad Boy

Catherine

I slowly made my way towards him. Apparently, he always looks at me, but right now I was thankful that he wasn't. I mean, I am a wreck right now, with all that nervousness piling up inside me.

I can do this.

I convinced myself. He was using his phone while leaning against a wall. I know he's a 'playboy', and damn, I won't lie, he's handsome.

I shrugged my thoughts and finally reached him. He parted his eyes from his phone and looked up.

I froze.

That's the most beautiful pair of eyes I have ever seen.

I know I have seen him before, but I didn't notice his eyes. They are rare emerald - or more like hazel. Or maybe emerald is fine to describe it.

I came out of my thoughts as I saw him smirking. I looked down immediately embarrassed by the situation.

"You gonna speak anything?" he spoke and don't mind me, but his voice is a complete turn-up. It is different than when he spoke in the office. To his friends, you know.

"Ah... I..." shit, Cat speak something.

"Guess I caught you off guard. I'm handsome, ain't I?"

I looked at him and as much as I wanted to let him know that he was, I denied it straight away.

"Nope. I just don't speak to people, so I just... You know, got nervous"

"So wait. You don't speak to people, so you talk to who? Aliens? Are they from Mars or Moon? Don't tell me they are from the Sun"

I really rolled my eyes at him. "If you think you're being humorous, you have a terrible sense"

"Well, you figured it out yourself, so I wouldn't call it terrible"

I sighed. I better leave after telling me whatever I came here for. I really am so not going to win over him.

"Anyway, I came here for a reason"

"Oh yeah? I thought you just thought I was handsome" he smirked yet again.

"You really think that don't you?" I made an annoyed face. "I just wanted to tell you to stop staring at me"

He looked at me as a small smile played on his face. "When did I stare?"

"The whole freaking day!"

"Oh it means that you must have been looking at me for the entire day, otherwise how'd you know that?"

I sighed. This boy is gonna destroy my day. And most probably my entire high school, if I talk anymore.

"Just don't stare anymore" I turned around.

"Why can't I?" he said and I stopped at my position.

How can someone possibly be like that?

"What do you mean by that?" I turned back at him.

"Why can't I stare at a beautiful face?"  he looked me in my eyes and spoke.

I broke the eye contact as I sensed that I was blushing.

Geez, my hormones need something to control them.

"I-I..." I couldn't make out any words.

"Damn, I left you speechless. But I'd very much like to know your name"

"Forget about it" I whispered and turned around and this time, I really left.

What was this?

I mean, he was like... So straight.

I know he does that every single day to every other girl.

But why am I so much affected by his just single sentence that he possibly speaks many times a day to many different girls?

I reached to my seat where Avery was.

"How'd it go?" She questioned as I sat down beside her.

"Ever ate Eggs and bacon together?"

"Gross"

"There you go" I put my head down on the table.

"So what exactly happened? Did you tell him not to stare?" she continued questioning.

"Yup I did and he told me that he will because I am fucking beautiful for him and I know he says that to every girl in this world and I still got affected by it!!" I blurted everything out.

"Woah girl, you got some good news in there" she winked at me.

"You are so not playing any side role in my story. There is no love story here" I said annoyed.

"Oh, sure there is. When your secret admirer is literally capturing you every single minute"

I sat straight. "What?"

"Right, babes," she said and I slowly looked to my right, and damn, he was taking my photo!

I ran to him. "Mister, what are you doing!?"

He smirked. "Nothing much. Why? You wanna spend time with me?"

"Gosh seriously! Give me your phone" I practically snatched it from him and the camera was opened.

He had two photos of mine. And the strange part was that there was no other girl's pic as I thought should have been.

"You ever learned about anyone's privacy?" he snatched his phone back and spoke rather rudely.

"Oh from when are my pictures your privacy!?" I yelled back.

"To be honest, I don't give a damn about your pictures" he deleted every picture on his phone of mine and I nodded.

"Never been happier than now," I said to him and left.

It was dispersal and I was happy cause he didn't stare at me from the lunch period.

However handsome he is, he is a playboy and thus his stare is annoying.

I was going to the bus stand when suddenly someone pulled me into a rather distinguished corner.

I gasped and I opened my eyes.

"You!?"
