Ethan tried to recall everything about the conversation he had with his baby girl. But no matter how hard he tried, he could not seem to recall and realize anything that could have made Lexy feel any kind of fear about him.

“Can you tell me what you think there could ever be the reason she had a sudden change of mood?” Ethan whined to Aldric like a little boy.

“Didn’t she say she even had to move away from the city for a while so she won’t run to me, afraid I would not feel the same longing she had for me?” Ethan continued.

Aldric also fell into deep thoughts.

“But no matter how I want to recall which part of our conversation did she start to change her mood, I cannot point it out and analyze what exactly did I say to upset my baby girl,” Ethan groaned.

Aldric scoffed. But the Lycan did not say anything. He was still annoyed that this human would blabber words upsetting their mate.

After a while, Ethan gave up thinking about it and decided to move on for now.
