Chapter 77 Subdued

Ethan realized being with Lexy. He was in his limited access to keep her safe if he could not transform into his supernatural ability. This thought had never occurred to him when he asked his men and allies to comply with his orders and wishes. And Ethan felt a dreading fear from within him. He was not sure of what was to come their way tonight, but the mere fact that Lexy was right beside him, and he was not willing to leave her sight even for a single second, already sent shivers of fright to the very depth of his being, human and lycan.

"The main task right now is to bring her safely to her home where she is well protected. Then we can deal with whoever or whatever is after us," Ethan said to Aldric as we walked his way to his side of the car.
