Gao yu

 It was raining heavily as a man in white shirt and a matching trouser ran with utmost speed towards mingyan manor.

 Judging from the man, though having a face that can be described as being handsome, you can see a trace of anxiety on his face as the rain drizzled down his clothes .

  The man pushed open the door and without minding sprinted towards the steps.

 On reaching to the top most floor, the man opened a door that leads to a room.

 "Is Gao yu sickness acting up again?" he asked a woman that looks exquisitely beautiful even with the look of anxiety written on her face.

"mmmmh," The woman nodded as tears that she have been trying to hold in toppled down her face.

 For sometime now Gao yu's body has been getting more colder, you can even see something like thin mist forming out of his body as the woman tightly hold him tightly to herself. 

  The man on seeing this has already darted towards a  drawer before confirming an answer from the woman, after opening the drawer without minding whether if the water dripping  down his body will destroy the important documents that filled the drawer, the man started rummaging through the  drawer for something, where did I keep it , the man said as he continued searching through the drawer, found it the man said as he brought out a tightly sealed envelope while praying it works within his heart.

  Though the envelope has ugly signs embedded on it the man don't seem to care as he tore it open.

 After tearing open the envelope the man brought out a bloody red talisman that looked even more ugly than the envelope, the talisman was covered with pictures that was scary enough to make a man cower but the man did not seemed to mind as he took the talisman and muttered some word.

  Seed of darkness you are my everlasting hope, if though wisheth let me seal my inner darkness, the man constantly muttered for several time before placing the talisman at the boys chest.

  At first the talisman apart from looking scary quite seem normal but immediately on touching the boy, the mist that has been forming immediately congealed towards the talisman as something like frost started forming outside the talisman.

  Did this work, the man said as he looked closely for feedback.

  Soon blood started returning to the boys face, as at first the boy looks paler but after the mist finished congealing toward the talisman, blood that seem to have drained from the boys face immediately returned.

   "Where do you get this from?" the woman asked as a trace of hope crossed her face, on seeing how the talisman worked she can't help thinking would this be a long time solution for Gao yu illness

 The man seeing how the boy was returning back to normal can't help heaving sigh of relieve before facing his wife with a smile.

  "It works,  it really do," the man said as this was the first time he was seeing what could immediately put a stop to Gao yu illness.

 "You know I assigned manager lao with the task of finding somebody that can cure Gao yu illness," the man asked with pleasant smile.

 "Yes you told me about that, you even made him manager because he suggested that he can find a solution to Gao yu illness."

 "Well he recommended me to a shaman by the side of lu ba yu lake, and there is how this talisman came by,"the man said. 

  Immediately the woman heard that she immediately asked without wasting time.

 "do you get it in bulk?" but the man immediately looked down.

 On seeing this the woman can't help as tears seems to be threatening to tickle down her face.

  It is not that she didn't see that the talisman worked but it is just that she has been given many hopes that always clashes with Gao yu illness flaring up time and time again. 

 Though this is their first time seeing a solution that worked immediately, it is not their first time getting a solution that works but later stopped working.

 "It is not that I don't want to get more in case Gao yu illness flared up again, it is just that I can't get more," the man said as he continued looking down.

 "Why? why can't you get more? if  it is money they want sell my share in the company, no I will ask dad for help if that won't be enough," the woman who seemed to have lost her mind said as tears tickled down her face.

  She can't believe that after finding something that can put an imminent stop to Gao yu illness after all this years that she can't max it out.

  The man on hearing this could only give a pained smile, it is not as if he didn't think of buying it all out, it is just that he can't, it is not because of money, because as long as he knew he is the major heir to one of the biggest companies in southern Asia, even without his wife family  he is a force no one will like offending.

 "It is not about money here," the man didn't even asked for money for this.

 "If it is not because of money, then what is it?" the woman asked as tears covered the face that would have captivated any man.

  Just as the man want to answer he stopped as he rushed toward Gao yu seeing that his eyes was already opened.

  Just as Gao yu opened his eyes a drop of tear directly failed at his face, as he can't help looking up to see his mother crying.

  Though being only but a child, Gao yu knew he has been nothing more than a constant source of worry to his parents, he really wish they have another kid apart from him.

   Gao yu raised his hand trying to wipe his mum tears as he forced out a smile, he was sad, he felt pained but still yet he knows that to his parents what matters is his smile.
