Chapter VIII

I was facing Deep Cut, the new group from Splatoon 3, “damn Corona, after I save all characters here in my sanctuary, you and I will have our reckoning” I said grabbing out my X-Blade. Frye, Shiver and Big Man put on their masks “talking them out is out of the question, I have to fight them, I have no other choice” I said. Shiver taps her communicator “Corona, this is Shiver speaking. We just encountered Inkcanius and he’s about to fight us” she said. “Good, I’m getting sick and tired of him destroying my plans, kill him” said Corona from the other side. I watch as Eels slither and coil around Frye’s arms and legs, next Shiver got on her shark while Big Man jumps in the ink, I get in my battle stance, my right hand behind my back while holding the X-Blade on my left hand. Frye, Shiver and Big Man were shocked “How Inkcanius can carry the X-Blade with just one hand, its impossible due to how heavy it is” said Shiver. I was unfazed, “is that fear I can sense” I said. Big Man was angry and swam towards me and tried to attack me but I parried his attack with ease. “Wait he can parry!?” said Shiver with shock, then struck Big Man and watched as Big Man jumped back and looked at his wound.

I then move my legs wide and see Frye about to attack me but I parry her attack by doing a somersault kick “he’s even acrobatic to!?” said Frye with shock, I jumped back and landed on my feet. “Frye what’s going on!? I thought you killed Inkcanius already” said Corona with anger over the communicator. “We are trying but he’s acrobatic and he can parry our attacks” said Shiver, Corona was shocked, “I don’t care about it, just kill Inkcanius!!!” she shouted with anger. “Looks like your so-called master is getting desperate, this fight won’t swiftly… Corona Virusknife” I said. Frye, Shiver and Big Man had their jaws with shock. “You… You know our master!?” said Shiver, “oh you Corona Virusknife… SHE’S THE ONE RESPONSIBLE FOR TAKING OVER MY SANCTUARY!!!” I shouted with rage.

“Wait don’t tell me… you created this world!?” said Frye with shocked “damn right I am, I CREATED THIS SANCTUARY, FOR ALL CHARACTERS FROM ALL MEDIAS, MEDIUMS AND CREATORS CAN LIVE IN PEACE AND HARMONY… BUT THAT’S ALL THROWN OUT THE WINDOW BECAUSE OF HER!!! Now she’ll face the full wrath of god!!!” I shouted with an angry grudge, and emit my full power “impossible, I thought he’s a mortal” said Frye. “I may be mortal in my own world but in my conscious I am a god, and Corona and her lackeys will face the full wrath of the God of the Infinitiverse, I hate to say this Frye Onaga, Shiver Hohojiro and Big Man but” then I close my eyes and opened them red pupilless eyes “Corona your master has fully pissed off a god” I said. Frye, Shiver and Big Man was now scared to see my pupilless red eyes “shit… he’s pissed, fully pissed” said Shiver. I put my X-Blade away and cracked my knuckles “oh now you done it Corona you bitch” I said with a coldhearted tone. Corona heard my coldhearted tone from her communicator “this is Inkcanius’ bad side… fuck me but it won’t phase me” said Corona. I watch as Frye’s eels slither towards me, one of them jump and about to attack me. I grab it and crushed it with my own hands. “Child’s Play” I said.

Frye was in absolute horror, “this inkling is on a whole other level” said Frye looking at Shiver and Big Man. As Frye looked back, I was gone “where did Inkcanius go!?” said Frye. Shiver, Frye and Big Man were shocked to see me vanish. They looked around but no sign of him, Then Frye felt a powerful presence behind them, she had never felt this level of fear before, it was me. I was behind them using my death glare against them. Frye, Shiver and Big Man has never felt fear for a long time. Big Man tried to attack first but I strike first knocking Big Man unconscious “Big Man!!” Shiver shouted with worry. Frye was enraged to see Big Man lying there unconscious and in response, she tried to strike in retaliation but I parried the attack and it was fast. “How is this inkling so fast!? Is this the actual power of the god of the infinitiverse!?” Frye shouted. The battle lasted for forty minutes.

Frye and Shiver have been fighting against me, to satisfy their master, Corona but I was foiling Corona’s plan no matter what. I watched as Frye’s eels fly towards me, I took a deep breath and ran to meet the attack, head on.  Shiver and Frye were shocked to watch me meet the attack head on. One of Frye’s eels tried to strike me but I took it out “he took out one of your eels” said Shiver with shock, then I land a brutal punch on Frye, she was knocked back but lands on her feet “okay that punch was no joke” said Frye getting up, she felt her face and shocked to see her Yellow ink on her finger, she was shocked that she felt her bruised wound. “He… He landed the first blow” said Frye. Shiver sees the wound from my punch on the left side of her face, yellow ink dripping from her face to the floor like it's bleeding.

Shiver ran and stabbed me on the heart, Shiver smiled “Corona this is Shiver, Inkcanius is dea…” then I grabbed her knife. Shiver was shocked “what… IMPOSSIBLE!!!” Shiver shouted. Then I looked at Shiver and did a powerful headbutt, Shiver stumbled back, then pull Shiver’s shark fin dagger out of my body “Shiver what’s going on?!” said Corona over the comms “I thought that Inkcanius is dead yet he is still alive” said Shiver, she looked at her hand to see Two-tone blue ink dripping from her nose. “I can’t be killed, Shiver” I said. Corona heard me say “Wait, Inkcanius is immortal!?” said Corona, “damn right bitch” I shouted. Shiver sees Big Man getting up on her right then looked at Frye on her left joining her “Inkcanius can’t be killed” said Frye. “Unfortunately yes, I stabbed his heart yet he’s still alive” said Shiver, covering her nose with her hand “Frye, Shiver you’re bleeding” said Big Man with worry. “Don’t worry about us Big Man, we can handle it” said Frye. Then Shiver drops down to her knees, I was confused “Inkcanius… thank goodness you came, I’m not how long I can fight Corona’s brainwashing spell but you stop her” said Shiver fighting Corona’s brainwashing. Shiver then ran and was about to strike me but I held her and use a brainwashing cleansing spell on Shiver and Shiver was free.

Next I grab Shiver and I jump back. “Shiver, are you okay?” I asked her. “Yes I’m okay” said Shiver then I use my abilities to free Shiver from Corona’s brainwashing, “there. You’re free” I said. Shiver gets up, I decided to give her Splat Dualies “here uses these” I said, Shiver nodded. Frye and Big Man were angry. I looked at Big Man and Frye as they ran towards me and Shiver. Shiver and I respond in kind by meeting the attack. As they jumped into the air Shiver and I took out Frye and Big Man cold. “Defeated,” I said. Then I carried Frye and Big Man “looks like Station A05 is now safe to use” I said. Then Shiver and I walked back towards the train and headed back to the Deepsea Metro sanctuary, as they arrive I look at Emperor’s area, he was gone, only left was his bed and his weapons. “Emperor left to do some unfinished business,” said Pearl.

I knew what was Emperor was doing, “I think I know what Emperor is doing, back around 2012 Emperor and his one of DarkMario2’s creations named Solaris did the unthinkable, silencing the community after that Emperor used the Killswitch to destroy Inkopolis, the fusion of Inkopolis Plaza, Inkopolis Square and Splatsville. That’s why Inkopolis was inhabitable, now Emperor leaves and I know why, he’s going to atone for what he has done back thirty-two years ago, he’s going to face the actions of his past and if possible seek forgiveness but it's going to be risky for him, why? Because he’s facing this alone.

Emperor was located on top of the a building that was part of the Inkopolis Tower overlooking Shattered Inkopolis Plaza, Shattered Inkopolis Square and Shattered Splatsville “Thirty two years ago, myself and Solaris silenced the community of Inkopolis and now I’m going to atone for what I have done, the road I will walk won’t be easy but I hope, that I seek forgiveness from the community I silenced on that fateful day, if not that’s okay. Because I know that fateful day on June 7th 2012. It was the day that I was marked as a criminal. A criminal that doesn’t deserve forgiveness” said Emperor, seeing the sun setting over Shattered Inkopolis, his only home that he destroyed with his own hands. As dried ink flew by, Emperor vanished. Starting his one and only loneful atonement. To atone for the actions he has done and also seek forgiveness from the very community he silenced on that day.
