"Move that flower over there quickly!" Lady Mary pointed, and Vivi immediately rushed over to move it. However, as soon as she lifted the vase, a loud thud was heard, and she unfortunately fell, breaking the vase. Everyone became silent as Lady Mary moved closer to her in anger.

"What is your name?" Lady Mary thundered, and Vivi managed to whisper her name.

"You are fired! Bring in another girl!" She yelled as the guards brought in a new person.

"I can't afford to have such clumsy workers serving the organization. Bring in a smarter person this time," Lady Mary ordered, and Anna was immediately brought in.

"Get rid of that trash. Be quick!" Lady Mary ordered, and Anna set to work. She had been waiting in line for two weeks just to get this job and was grateful to finally be called in by the guards.

After four long hours of working tirelessly, it was finally time for the real work to begin. They had all been told what to do and were there to serve the mafia organization for as long as their meeting lasted.

Different mafia leaders from across the country were to gather in this very mansion for their meeting, which usually occurred every five to six years and was coordinated by the mafia of all mafias, the godfather - the lord of all capos, the Don of all Dons.

The Don is usually chosen after careful investigation by all the mafia organizations in the country and beyond. The Don has to be the best in his game, have the most influence, be the best fighter, the wealthiest, the deadliest, and also the most business-minded. All these qualities and more were discovered in Ace Padrino Agostino twelve years ago, and since then, he has continued to rule the mafia world without a close competitor.

"Quick, everybody to your positions!" Lady Mary ordered, and all the maids ran to their respective places to stand. Anna stood very close to Lady Mary, as she was ordered, as they all anticipated the entrance of the mafia leaders. 

Different voices were heard as the leaders began to troop into the room one after the other. 

All seven leaders took their seats in their different positions as they continued exchanging hellos, but all that ceased once Ace Padrino Agostino entered the room. 

Everywhere became dead silent as they all stood to welcome him. Ace walked to his chair, the chair only meant for the Don, and immediately he sat, the others began taking their seats.

"Cosimo?" Ace grunted, and his consigliere rushed in with full speed. 

"Where is it?" he asked, sounding disgusted. 

"I'm sorry; where is what?" Cosimo moved closer to him. 

Ace shut his eyes and thumbed his forehead, probably frustrated by his consigliere's behavior."

"Oh-oh, forgive me, capos, for my mistake," Cosimo said as he did a slight bow before looking up at Lady Mary.

"The documents," the consigliere whispered to her, and Lady Mary quickly understood.

Lady Mary lifted her hand, and the staff stepped out with the documents. They carefully placed it in front of each Mafia boss before stepping back to their position.

"I apologize for that little delay. Welcome to another meeting," Ace finally looked up and said. Little talk filled the room once more as the leaders responded to Don's greeting.

And so, the meeting commenced.

"Refreshments!" Lady Mary called out to the maids once the meeting ended.

Anna, along with the other maids, rushed into the kitchen at once to bring out the numerous dishes prepared by the chefs. They started serving the food with different drinks, and before long, everywhere was filled with talks and laughter as they began digging into their food.

Ace stood up and started moving to the stairs, and Lady Mary immediately rushed to him.

"Padrino," she called and bowed.

"Yes, Mary?" Ace replied as he started climbing the stairs.

"Should I do the usual?"

"Yes, the usual," he answered.

Lady Mary bowed again and picked three maids to follow her into the kitchen. These maids were to take Padrino's food specially to him as he does not eat with too many people.

He mostly eats alone, and everyone knows this. Lady Mary picked Anna among the maids. Anna carried a tray filled with different types of fruit, mostly the Padrino's favorite. Lady Mary and the other maids followed Anna up the stairs to Ace's room. 

"Just drop the tray and head back outside," Lady Mary instructed once they arrived at the door. The first maid entered, followed by the second, and then Anna. They all dropped their trays and were about to leave when Ace asked, "Who is waiting?" Lady Mary rushed into the room. "Padrino, I'll wait," she replied. 

"No, you are needed back there to ensure that everything runs smoothly," Padrino instructed, and Lady Mary bowed in agreement.

"Yes, Padrino." "You stay," Lady Mary ordered Anna. "No mistakes," she added before leaving with the other maids. Anna swallowed and walked to the door to stand. Should I stand outside the door, or should I stand inside? Lady Mary stood outside.

Anna wondered as she stood there confused. She didn't dare look at Ace as he walked around the room. Once seated, Ace removed the covers from the tray. "Cutleries," Ace stretched out his hand, and Anna scrambled to hand him a spoon.

She walked back to her position at the door while he started eating.

"Water," he spoke up again and Anna rushed to hand him the bottled water.

"Empty it," he ordered when she made to go back to her position. She quickly unsealed the bottled water and poured the contents into a glass cup for him. Once done, she returned to her position at the door.

Lady Mary had initially told them that they must not stand too close to the mafia leaders, especially the Don, no matter what. They must stand at least five feet away while serving them, and Anna was glad that she was obeying that command.

"Napkins," he requested, and Anna rushed to hand them over to him.

"Do not stand at the door, stand closer," Ace suddenly said as she made to rush back to the door.

And for the first time, Anna looked at him, clearly puzzled by what he just said. What did he mean by that?

"I said move closer," Ace repeated, returning her stare.

"Yes, sir," Anna obeyed and stood closer to him but wasn't close enough for her hand to reach him.

She listened as he munched on his food and took her gaze to the wall as she tried so hard to stop herself from correcting him. He was munching on his food so loudly; this would definitely irritate anyone close to him.

"A wine glass, could you pass me the vodka?" Ace piped up, and Anna immediately did so.

"Clear the table and bring up one more bottle of vodka while you're at it," Ace instructed, and Anna replied with a bow.

She carried the trays away, cleaned the table, and returned with an extra bottle of vodka as he had requested. Once she was done, she left.

Downstairs, some of the mafia leaders were already drunk. Some forcefully grabbed maids that looked pleasing or fûckable. To be honest, most of the mafia leaders there were with girls - servant girls. Anna shrugged her shoulders and ignored them as she went to look for Lady Mary.

Once she found her, she informed her that she was done serving the Padrino. However, Lady Mary sent her back to make sure that he truly didn't need more of her services.

Anna went up again to do as Lady Mary instructed. She knocked on his door and opened it to see if he wanted something, but she was surprised to find that no one was in the room.

She went inside and closed the door behind her. Then, she took a seat and waited for him. After some time, she grew tired of waiting and stood up. She walked around the room and saw the wall clock.

Something pushed her and she went and poured herself a glass. She emptied the glass into her mouth and sat down like nothing happened. Two minutes later, the door opened and Ace walked into the room. He looked a little sober and a little drunk.

"Sir, do you need anything else?" Anna stood up and asked. Ace didn't answer her but proceeded to close the door. He dropped his bottle of vodka on the table and lay down on the bed.

"Sir?" Anna called once more, but when she still didn't get a response from him, she decided to move closer. She went closer to see his eyes tightly shut as he slept.

"I guess he doesn't need my service again," Anna whispered to herself as she turned to leave. She turned back to cover him with the duvet, but as soon as she reached for the duvet, she felt her hand being twisted and pulled. She gasped and opened her eyes wide as she landed on the bed.

"What were you about to do?" Ace hovered over her on the bed and questioned, sounding dangerous.

"I...I..." Anna forgot how to speak for a moment, but she was more shocked when Ace covered her mouth with his.
