KATELYN'S POV
♡♡♡
I jolted awake as the alarm clock on my side table blared loudly. My eyes widened, and I took a sharp breath, clutching my chest."What happened?" I asked, scanning the room with wide eyes. I was back in my normal bedroom, far from the room where I usually saw him.
I could still feel the pounding in my chest and the lingering sensation he left on my body and mind. I couldn't explain it, but I still strongly felt that thing between my thighs.
I swallowed and glanced at my cell phone. It was still early, and I had time to lie back down.
I bit my lower lip and looked under the blanket. I looked in every direction, anxious that someone might catch me in the act, but the windows and door of my room were closed. To alleviate the heat in my body, I decided to do something I had never done before in my entire life.
I touched every part of my body that he had touched, savoring the sensation, and I could still almost feel the warmth of his palm on my skin.
As if every touch set me ablaze with desire.
I took a deep breath as I felt the wetness between my legs, an experience I had never had before. I didn't know my body was capable of producing this much wetness.
"Hmmm..." I gasped as I felt my index finger slide effortlessly into my opening. It glided in effortlessly, without any resistance.
"Ah..." I covered my mouth, unable to contain the loud moan that escaped me, and as a result, I snapped back to reality.
It felt like a cold splash of water woke me from what I was doing this morning. I quickly released my grip on the sheets and sat up in bed, unable to help but shake my head at myself because of everything that had been happening to me.
Ever since I talked to that guy, all sorts of thoughts have been racing through my mind. I can't believe that at my age, I'm already preoccupied with such activities in the morning.
I stood up and hurriedly made my way to the bathroom, taking a quick shower and getting ready for work.
I grabbed my belongings and rushed downstairs from my apartment, hopping into my car to head to school.
"Wow, you're looking radiant!" Aimee turned to me, having arrived earlier than I did.
"What radiant look? I didn't even have time to brush my hair because I was in a hurry," I replied to her while unloading my things onto the desk.
"Seriously, you're glowing today. You must have really prepared for the dinner party later, right?" she asked, furrowing her brow as she observed my belongings. Where did I put my lesson plan?
"Dinner party?" I asked, raising an eyebrow as if being judged.
"Girl, we have a welcome party for the two new teachers, remember? Maybe you didn't listen to yesterday's announcement," she explained, and I found myself holding my cheek in disbelief.
"Oh, right. I thought it was scheduled for the weekend," I responded to her, shaking my head. She looked at me, raising an eyebrow as if she couldn't believe me.
"Girl, you're sometimes so absent-minded. But it's okay. You look beautiful anyway. So yeah, we'll just have a simple dinner and a light party afterward. You know we still have work tomorrow," she said, and I simply nodded.
I didn't really want to join them, but I felt like I would be scolded by the head faculty if I skipped another gathering like this.
I focused on my work and took care of all the things I needed to do. I tried to erase last night's events from my mind, but sometimes I still wonder how such a thing could happen.
How did he manage to enter my dream? Who is this person, and what is his purpose for me? Another thing that keeps troubling my mind is why I can feel every touch he leaves on my body so intensely.
Even now, that feeling still hasn't faded from my body.
"Teacher Kate, I'm done with the activities!" I was startled by my student's sudden appearance in front of me, holding her activity paper and waving it in front of my face.
"Wow! That was impressive! Alright, class, please pass your finished work up here to the front. And you can play during our remaining free time, but please be mindful not to disturb your classmates who are still working on their activities, okay?" I explained, and they all shouted in unison, "Okay, teacher!"
Time flew by quickly, and because of the repetitive nature of the activities, you wouldn't even notice how swiftly time passed.
Before I knew it, the day was coming to a close, and it was time for the students to head home from school.
"Hey, girl, why don't you freshen up a bit? There's still an hour left before the teachers in the other faculty finish their class," Aimee said to me, and I glanced at the mirror on my table.
"Do I really need to doll up for them? I already look presentable, don't I?" I asked her, and once again, she looked at me with surprise.
What's with this girl? She's still not used to me.
"At least put on some perfume and touch up your makeup. Maybe just reapply your lipstick, girl," she replied, and I found myself looking at my face in the mirror again.
What was the name of the guy I met in the hallway? I can't remember, but the guy at the restaurant was Gadreel, right?
"Hmmm..." I examined my lips in the mirror, once again thinking about the passionate and sweet kiss from the guy in my dream.
I couldn't help but touch my lips. I want to feel and taste it again.
"Kate? Are you okay?" I looked up at Aimee, and she caught me touching my lips. She glanced at me judgmentally and seemed intrigued as if she was prying for more details.
"I couldn't help but notice my lips drying. Why are you looking at me like that?" I asked, defensively reaching for my lip balm in my bag.
"Oh, it's nothing. You just seem lost in thought today," she replied as I applied the lip balm and topped it off with red lipstick.
We descended from the faculty building, where a van awaited to take us to the restaurant where we would have our meal.
Aimee boarded the van first, followed by me. As I took my seat, I was surprised to find myself next to a new teacher. Who was he again? I had forgotten.
"Hi, Ms. Hernandez," he greeted me, and I nodded in response, feeling embarrassed that I had forgotten his name even though he introduced himself to me when we first met in the hallway.
"Hello," I replied shortly, and as the van's door reopened, another new teacher, Gadreel, entered.
"Is everyone here?" asked the vice principal.
"Yes, sir, everything is in order."
I lowered my head, wondering why the seating arrangement was like this and how Aimee ended up behind me when we should have been seated together. Maybe that witch planned it this way.
I glanced behind me and saw them chuckling. I glared at them because, apparently, some of my co-teachers were in on it too.
So I remained silent and didn't join in their conversations throughout the journey. My two seatmates must have sensed that I didn't want to talk to them.
They hadn't spoken to me when we finally arrived at the destination. As soon as I stepped out of the van, I took a deep breath and started chatting.
"You're such a weirdo, Kate. Hahaha, you really don't like to speak," Aimee teased, and I just pouted at her.
"Whatever, I won't be persuaded no matter what you do," I replied, and we both laughed as we followed our colleagues into a Korean restaurant.
They decided to have hotpot and beer, as it won the vote when the two teachers were asked what they wanted to eat.
"I thought steak and wine would win. They must be tired of that," Aimee said, and we sat at a long table with three hotpot stoves for later.
The food was already arranged on the table, along with beer and other drinks for those who wanted to have some.
"Oh, guys, take it easy on the alcohol. You still have work tomorrow," our vice president reminded us, and we all complied.
After all, I didn't really drink much, and my alcohol tolerance was low.
We celebrated the arrival of the two new teachers, engaging in lively conversations while enjoying the delicious hotpot in the cool weather.
"Eligor, do you have a girlfriend?" one of our co-teachers asked. Eligor paused as he sipped the broth and grinned.
"No, none yet. Hahaha, no one has made that mistake," he joked, which was met with laughter from the other teachers.
"Oh, come on! With your handsome looks and friendly personality, I'm sure many women would feel comfortable around you," Mrs. Francis added, and Eligor simply laughed.
"I always end up in the friend zone, hahaha," he replied, though some didn't believe him.
"Oh, Gadreel surely has a girlfriend. He can't be without one," another teacher commented. They were crazy, deciding the life choices of others.
"No, I don't," he replied briefly and took a sip of his drink.
I noticed a stark difference between these two men. Eligor was a bit mischievous and loud, while Gadreel appeared calm and serious.
"Girl, have this."
Her name is Eligor, I forgot because of all the things on my mind, and this is Gadreel, the one I had lunch with.
I was taken aback by what Aimee handed me, and I almost spit it out when I tasted the alcohol in my mouth.
"You're crazy, Aimee. I don't drink," I replied, which made our coworkers burst into laughter.
"Girl, you just need a sip. It's not bad to have a little drink. Give it a try," the witch urged me, and I had no choice but to take a small sip as everyone's eyes were fixed on me.
I took a gulp, and they all cheered me on until I finished the entire glass. I didn't know I would have three more after that, unable to control myself.
"Girl, you need to go home. You're getting drunk too quickly. If only I knew, I wouldn't have taught you how to drink," I heard Aimee say, and I saw my colleagues starting to worry.
"Should we go home then? Kate doesn't have anyone to go home with," one of my coworkers suggested, and I shook my head.
"No! I can handle this. It's still early, and the celebration has just begun," I answered, and my colleagues just shook their heads.
"I will drive her home," Gadreel said.
"Are you okay with that? You'll have to come back to school because her car is still there," I couldn't understand what Aimee was saying to Gadreel, and I saw Aimee rummaging through my bag and handing my car keys to him.
"Here, this is her address," Aimee handed him her phone as if pointing something out on the screen.
"Come back as soon as you've dropped her off. Sorry that you have to be the one to take care of my friend. You and Eligor are the stars of the celebration, after all," Aimee said, and I was feeling really dizzy.
I felt him grab my waist and wrap his arm around my shoulder.
"I will be back. Let me borrow the van for now!" he said, and I waved to Aimee as this guy dragged me along.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked him, but he didn't say anything. He made me sit in the front seat and tightened my seatbelt.
He drove back to school, took my car, and then drove us home. Even though my vision was spinning, I could still remember what was happening. I was just a bit tipsy and felt like I wanted to vomit.
"Fourth floor, right?" He asked, looking at his phone, and then he guided me towards my apartment room.
He took the keys from my bag and opened the door, suddenly lifting me up in his arms and heading straight to the bed.
"Hahaha, I didn't know you could get drunk so quickly, Ms. Katelyn." I couldn't understand what he was saying, and I was getting dizzy.
"Hurry up, put me down!" I complained, and as I struggled, he suddenly lost balance, causing...

KATELYN'S POV♡♡♡The climate has become extremely chilly, and as a result, the number of visitors to Brentwood is steadily increasing, all seeking to experience the breathtaking beauty of this place during the winter season.Amidst this cold weather, more and more people are flocking to our cafe. I must say that my parents made a wise decision to venture into this business. The weather is the perfect reason for them to indulge in our warm coffee and delicious food, all lovingly prepared by Mom.It has been five months since we opened this cafe, and the three of us have been quite busy, gradually recouping the investment we initially put in. Mom and Dad purchased this location, and our home is situated above the cafe. I often find myself sleeping here, but now I own our old house, which I sometimes retreat to.On weekdays, I also conduct online classes for my students, and in the afternoons, I head to the cafe to lend a hand. The holiday season is upon us, and with most people off wor
KATELYN'S POV♡♡♡The strong and refreshing breeze carried the dry leaves, a sign that autumn was approaching once again. I found myself sitting on the bench where Eligor and I used to have lunch, where we chatted and often teased each other.I often find myself seated in the very spot where he once sat, using it as my refuge while I while away the hours with nothing but thoughts of him on my mind. Gazing at the overcast sky above, I am irresistibly drawn to wonder, "How is he doing now?"Today marked the last day of my teaching career at this school; I had decided to take a break and establish a small café back in our hometown of Brentwood. It had been two years since Mom was discharged from the mental facility, and together with Dad, we made the decision to build the café near a tourist spot, so we could be a close-knit family and take better care of Mom.With my family whole and my parents' relationship restored, I couldn't help but reflect on the tremendous changes in my life. I f
KATELYN'S POV♡♡♡"I never expected you'd really come back. I thought you were trapped there." Hmmm... whose voice was that?"I also didn't know that Kate would come to rescue me from that curse. I can't remember what happened, and I have no recollection." That voice must be Eligor's. Wait, where am I?I slowly opened my eyes and saw Eligor and Loraine talking in the living room. The bedroom door was open, and it seemed like we were back in the normal world.I tried to sit up, but suddenly, I felt intense pain all over my body. My legs were trembling with agony, and I couldn't even manage to sit."Kate?" Eligor glanced towards me, and he immediately came over, supporting me and propping me up against the headboard of the bed. Concern was evident on his face, and I couldn't help but break into tears, embracing him tightly."Thank goodness! Thank you for being here!" I hugged him tightly, afraid that if I let go, he might disappear again like a vision vanishing from my sight."Hush, don
KATELYN'S POV ♡♡♡ The sky was wrapped in dark clouds, and the once vibrant garden now exuded a sense of eerie unease. The plants around had withered, rotted, and lost their colors. The surroundings were chilling, and it felt as if it could rain anytime. The garden was completely dark since all the light posts were dead. Nevertheless, I pressed on, mustering the courage to step into the garden. As I walked, the distant growls and screams grew louder, emanating from the end of the garden, where Eligor and I often hung out together, sharing lunches. "E-Eligor?" I called out, even though my voice trembled with fear. I couldn't hide the fact that I was afraid to see him. I'll admit I wasn't ready to witness his current form, but I was prepared to accept him no matter what. I tried to say his name, but my mouth went dry as I caught sight of a large shadow just a few feet away. The only source of light was a red light, and within that light, I saw the image of a man with one wing and
ELIGOR'S POV ♡♡♡ How did I meet her? How did I find myself in this situation, feeling trapped with no way out? As far as I can recall, it was just an ordinary night for me, doing my job as an incubus, needing to feed by engaging in intimate encounters with mortals in their dreams. I used to visit women's dreams, seeking out new victims. But I didn't know how I ended up in your dream. You were just nine years old when I first encountered you, drawn into your dream by another incubus who always kept an eye on you. I wondered why they kept visiting a young girl like you, who only played in her dreams. And that's when I learned about what your parents did and the reason they were there in your dream. At first, I didn't care about them or what they wanted for a young girl like you. But as I spent more time inside your dreams, I found myself getting closer to you. You seemed to have me under some sort of spell, and my curiosity about who you were grew stronger. Your imagination was
KATELYN'S POV♡♡♡"So, what you're saying is that you just came back from your vacation trip to Brentwood, and on the spur of the moment, you decided to visit your home. You saw Brother Anthon there, and then you all went to Central City to see Katherina. And now you're heading home right away because... you need to talk to your boyfriend?" Aunt Kaylie repeated, looking at the road ahead while gripping the steering wheel."Correction, he's actually my ex now because we broke up," I explained with a sigh. Now that I know more details about what happened to my mom, I am certain that ELigor had nothing to do with it. I just want to talk to him to clear everything up.And, of course, to ask for his forgiveness because I never wanted to hurt him."So, you're getting back together?" Aunt Kaylie asked, and I nodded. Right now, there's nothing else I want to do but embrace Eligor and tell him how much I love him."Tsk, what's the name of this man, huh? Introduce him to us sometimes," Aunt Kay
KATELYN'S POV♡♡♡With a firm grip, my Dad held the sunflower he had bought for my Mom. Aunt Kaylie glanced at it, and I knew she also noticed that Dad was always the one bringing flowers for Mom."What are you two thinking? And how did you even meet? Didn't I tell you, brother Anthon, that you can't see my sister and niece yet? How did you find Katelyn?" Aunt Kaylie bombarded my Dad with questions, and it was evident from my father's face that he didn't want to argue with Aunt Kaylie. So, I took it upon myself to explain our current situation."Aunt, please calm down for a moment. The truth is, I went to Brentwood to see Dad. I went to our old house, and that's where I found him. We've talked, and I know everything now, so please let the two of us talk to Mom." Aunt Kaylie's face revealed surprise and disbelief that I wasn't afraid to confront Dad."Are you really okay? I'm concerned that your mother might be shocked. I don't want sister's condition to worsen," she replied, and Dad a
KATELYN'S POV♡♡♡"I understand, my child. It was my fault that our family fell apart. I was overwhelmed by sadness and problems and sought solace in another woman. But believe me. I didn't stay with her for long. I realized that your mother and you needed me," explained Papa as we sat in the living room. Since he regained his senses, he had been explaining to me about what had happened in the past.I let him explain because I knew I had hastily judged my father. At a young age, I didn't consider his feelings and focused on how I was hurt by what happened to us.I didn't even bother to find out what happened to him or why he suddenly left and went with someone else. All I knew back then was that he was a terrible father who abandoned us, a worthless father who was never there when I needed him. That's what stuck in my mind. That's what Mama ingrained in my young mind."If only I had understood your mother better, if only I had delved deeper into the reasons behind her change, we would
