My eyes fluttered open, vision blurry and wet.

Pain. God pain everywhere.

I tried to move, but my arms wouldn't budge. Thick iron chains clamped around my wrists. I looked down and froze. My legs were jammed inside a bucket, blood spilling over the rim, staining the floor red.

What the hell?!

Are they collecting my blood?!

Fear slammed into my chest. My throat burned.

"Cay...y...den," I croaked weakly, the name barely leaving my lips. I was in serious trouble. I was going to die.

Then, a voice cut through the room, smooth and dripping with venom.

"Can't believe the Moon Goddess picked someone this dumb to bear the Almighty powers."

That voice.

That goddamn voice.

The voice that once made my stomach flutter now made my blood run cold.

Philip.

He sat nearby, lazily sipping from a cup, surrounded by a few other men. Realization hit me like a truck.

No. No, no, no.

What the hell have I done?

Rage, shame, and heartbreak crashed over me.

Damnit! What the fuck has my stupid heart done to me?

*~Caspian POV~*Standing in front of Cyrius with Hazel unconscious beside me.. My heart thudded hard in my chest, my eyes darting around in a frantic search for her babies—but they were nowhere in sight."Hello, brother," I said, my voice calm but edged with steel. His eyes..dark, almost void-like..were locked entirely on Hazel. The wolfsbane-coated arrows in his hands glinted faintly under the dim light."Shift," he ordered, his tone dripping with venom.I raised my hand before he could come closer, the air between us thick with tension. "Stay away from her. Where are the babies?"He didn't answer. His grip tightened on the arrows, his knuckles whitening. Before he could lunge, Aurora's voice rang out like a whip. "Versa!" In a flash, she pounced, knocking him back. Wolves erupted around us, snarls filling the night air."Go find the babies. I'll handle these," Aurora barked, cracking her knuckles with a dark grin. The moment she mentioned the babies, Cyrius's eyes widened. He bolted

*~Hazel's POV~* Before I could even process these strange emotions..or decide what I should do next—the sound of wheels crunching on sand pulled me from my thoughts. Cyrius' carriage was coming down the path toward us. He hopped down, eyes alight. "I managed to get a priest… but he's not coming today. Don't worry…tomorrow, right here, we'll come back and get married. And then we live…" He leaned closer, voice dropping into a promise that made my stomach twist. "…we live happily ever after." My stomach growled, but it wasn't hunger—it was guilt. The image of Caspian flashed in my mind. I had promised him forever too. The weight of it sat heavy on my chest. I could only nod. Cyrius didn't notice—or pretended not to. He sat me down and began feeding me pieces of fruit from the basket he'd packed, one by one, like it was the most natural thing in the world. "Hazel, what's wrong? Did anything happen while I was gone?" His eyes scanned the shoreline sharply, the way they always did w

Cyrius POV My wolf growled low, a primal, guttural sound that vibrated through my chest the moment she pointed to her heart and uttered the words that shattered me:"Caspian is the only one I will allow in."Bullshit.My fists clenched at my sides as the ache turned into fire. "You should allow me in," I snapped, voice cracked and desperate. "Why are you doing this to me, Hazel? Why are you so damn unfair?"She didn't answer, but she didn't need to. Her silence felt like betrayal."They took everything from me," I snarled. "They took my throne. Now they've taken you. Why? Why do I always lose? Why are they always the ones who win?"Her voice came out softer this time, barely a whisper. "No one is taking me away from you, Cyrius."But I shook my head violently. "You don't get it. I'm never yours," she added.Wrong answer. My voice rose, cracked with fury and pain. "You are literally my mate! You are literally the only woman who makes me feel like this. Who drives me mad! • Greedy Me Wants All Alphas to Myself    Midnight in the lions den

Tyler's POVI know I'm making either the dumbest decision of my life… or the worst.I should be heading home, maybe calling Eric and trying to salvage whatever's left of that friendship or at the very least, lick my wounds. But instead, here I am. Sitting in a cab, heading straight back to the reason Anne and I cracked open in the first place. Back to his place. Han Sora.He asked me to spend the night, and I.like the perfect fool said yes. Not even a second thought. Not even a flicker of doubt. What I should be doing is building walls between me and this chaos. What I should be doing is running. But instead?I dove headfirst into it.And the worst part?I don't regret it.As we sped through the city, the streetlights flickering like fading memories against the glass, I felt something twist inside me not guilt. Not shame. Not even fear.It was excitement.I was in my joggers, no polished shoes, no starched collars. Just a plain black hoodie, my hair undone and falling into my eyes. N
