Hades returned to his mortal disguised. Placing a leash on Cerberus the two of them left. Jace walked over to her and attempted to place his hand on her shoulder but missed. Andi seen him attempting to do it several times and laughed at him. She took his hand that was hanging in the air and lead him away from the grove.

When they were out on the street, she took the blindfold off him. Jace blinked his eyes repeatedly to adjust. The city lights looked different there than it did when he was flying above it. “So that was Hades, right?”

“Yeah, and seriously if you had seen what he looked like I’m sure you would have had a heart attack he is not for the faint of heart.”

“He couldn’t have looked that scary.”

She laughed nervously, “He does but I can honestly say he’s not as mean, vindictive, or spiteful as legends make him out to be. When he’s really happy, like ecstatic I have seen flowers grow
