Chapter 15

I smashed my glass cup against the floor causing blood to splutter across the floor. My breaths came out heavy as I walked back and forth in my dark room restlessly. I launched to my bed with claws, ripping my pillows to pieces, tearing long marks across my bed sheets. Yet my pain refused to cease. Every part of my body ached, my insides still seemed like it was burning.

I groaned as I collapsed to my bedside, the pain in my head had dozed and my injuries were still yet to heal up. I almost screamed from frustration and anger intertwined.

My breaths ceased for a split moment as a soft knock graced my door. I asked to be alone, besides there was already a celebratory party so why would anyone dare to disturb me.

I felt the tingling sensation bloom again and his familiar scent. Zeus. I held onto my stomach dearly hoping the burning pain would just fade away.

The door silently opened and the sensation intensified.
