Chapter R32

I could hear someone humming to a song I once knew. Her scent filled my nostrils as she patted my hair gently on her thighs. My eyes slowly opened only to be welcomed by her smile. Her gray eyes and smile were just like I remembered. This was her room and this bed, how much I’ve missed its warmth.

“Mother,” I gasped, teary eyed.

“Green,” she called in her soft silky voice.

“I’m finally home,” I gasped and she wriggled her head.

“This is not your home Green.” She mumbled.

“This is, mother. This is where I want to be.” I cried. “Life without you was terrible. I hated every moment of it.”

She heaved a light sigh while she wiped the tears that lingered on my face.

“Are you sure about that?” She asked. “You became the Queen of the Vampires without me, you took the clans to greater height, you made friends, the good ones and the most beautiful part of it all,” she paused as realization dawned on me. “Zeus.”

“He hates me.” I whispered. “No love,”
