Chapter R02

The night was surprisingly cold in Olive land, the moon hung dimly than usual, the forests were unusually eerie as if it had noticed my present. But I cared less about these things and simply focused on tracing the Lycan's abode.

"We both know you're doing the wrong thing, Green." Zeus sounded beside me as I trailed on the dry leafy path.

"This is not the time to lecture me." I retorted, keeping my gaze forward. "I'm going to avenge you and that's all that matters."

"Green..." He held my wrist causing both of us to halt.

"I know you want to avenge me, I can understand the rage fueling inside you but killing the Lycan would only worsen things. It won't ease your pain."

"I know it won't." I heaved a sigh as my gaze lowered to the dry leaves. I couldn't even look into those Hazel eyes, I was unworthy or perhaps I was scared I might change my mind.

"Then why are you doing this?" He asked softly.

"I can't bear it, Zeus. I can't bear to see him happy while I'm miserable. I can't seem
