Chapter R01

"I was doing just fine before you came, Zeus,” I whispered and the wind blew softly across the flowers decorated around his grave. My chest raged with a burning pain intertwined with anger and sadness. My eyes embattled warm tears I resisted from touring across my cheek. I couldn't help but get swallowed in the moments we had together. They came in a flash yet each moment struck hard in my heart. Like a burden that kept pulling up.

"But then you came like a star, you stole my fragile heart." My palms curled into a fist as I breathed softly.

"And like a strange visitor, you left me." My voice trailed off. "You left our child. You left us..."

A tear gently toured down my cheek and my pain only dosed, my head kept replaying his last moment. How he had died horribly. How I had failed in protecting my mate when he needed me the most.

"Let it out..." I heard his voice tone softly beside me. I frowned whilst turning my head sharply to my right.
