Chapter 166 Six Ferocious Men

Author: Five Generals
“Kaze, stop challenging her! We are going to die here!” Sky got nervous.

Kaze said he wanted Socialite Club thrashed.

Not only Tiffany did not believe him, but even Sky felt the same.

Kaze took his phone out and shoved it into Sky’s hands. He smiled and said, “Do you believe if I call this number, Socialite Club will be thrashed and we will walk out of here unscathed?”

“Kaze! Stop fooling around!”

Sky got so nervous that he almost broke down and cried. The phone in his hand was like a piping hot potato that he wished he could let go.

His mother, Agnes, told him on the phone that Kaze loved to brag.

He also knew that Kaze lied to everyone in the Quint family and got them thrown out of the street yesterday.

Now he believed what his mother said.

Their lives were on the line and he was still bragging.

“Just believe me. Make the call, tell them to thrash Socialite Club immediately.”

Kaze helped Sky tap to call and put the phone next to his ears.

“Mr. Lee, what is it?

Julian’s smiley face was swollen even more after the slap. He looked at Lyra in shock. He did not expect such a strong slap from a woman. Why would she slap him all of a sudden? “What is wrong with you? I told you already!” Julian was beaten up by Fletcher and Quill, and he endured it. Now that Lyra slapped him, he felt insulted and embarrassed. “What is wrong? You really think I’m an idiot? You tried to trick me even in this situation?” Lyra never had a good temper. Why would she allow a stupid, fat man to insult her? If she could not even see through his lies, then she would not be Fletcher and Quill’s boss. Her men were much more cunning than her, yet she had full control over them. “I wasn’t lying! I was telling the truth,” Julian argued. Slap! Another slap landed on his face, turning his head to the side. Julian dared not speak anymore. He covered both his cheeks with his hands, looking resentful. He was afraid of being slapped again. “You really think I don’

Lyra looked at Julian coldly. The fat man might look honest after some serious beating, but his eyes were gleaming. Deep down, he was not honest, and he might be planning something vicious. “I can’t be helped. That’s who I have been since I was young,” Julian said timidly. He dared not provoke Lyra at all. “Then think. What do you find unusual during the auction?” she asked. There was nothing else she could do, so she mustered up her patience to understand the situation better, hoping to get more information. “Okay. Let me think… My family spent a fortune on the invitation, but we didn’t get what we were there for. We wanted to meet the branch leader, but it was only chosen through an auction. “I remember a Weldon guy won in the end,” he said as he recalled the auction. The auction seemed unusual because Edmund was the ultimate winner, not anyone else. Edmund was the one who organized the auction, so he earned a heck load of money through it. He did not contribute anyth

Despite being fat, falling on the floor was painful for Julian. The pain spread across every inch of his body. Before he could react, punches rained down on him. Julian screamed like a pig being slaughtered. Once the door was closed, the cries halted. The screams irritated Lyra, so she turned on some music. The loud music blasted across the room. When mixed with the excruciating screams, the room in the basement plunged into chaos. Lyra watched as her men beat up the fat Julian. Julian tried to curl himself up into a more defensive position, but due to his excessive body fat, he could barely do it. All he could do was wriggle like a fat worm while Fletcher and Quill punched him. “That’s enough. Don’t kill him yet. A dead man can’t speak,” Lyra said. Fletcher got up. His fists hurt. “He’s damn fat, but I think I punched his bone.” “You should have kicked him. At least it’s easier and less painful if you hit the bones,” Quill said. Julian was covered in bruises, and

“Okay. I’ll wait for a little longer.” Julian took his phone out and wanted to contact his friend for help, but there was no signal, which intensified the fear. He knew he must not provoke or resist the man or else he would be beaten. Julian had never been kidnapped before, so this was new to him, but he had a hunch that it would be similar to his current situation. The man did not reveal any information to him and now he was being restrained in a room in the basement. Julian sat on the chair with a terrified look. Some time later, he finally heard a noise from the outside. Quill immediately looked outside. Lyra got nothing from Edmund’s side and was extremely irritated. She hoped to get something out of the man, but she failed miserably. She came in with a darkened expression. When Julian saw a beautiful woman come in with her heels clacking, he was quite surprised. When he saw Quill nodded at her, he knew that this woman was the boss that Quill had referred to e

Quill then waited for Julian to leave as if he did not mind at all. “But I don’t know you. Why do you want to help me?” Julian was not an idiot. Trusting a stranger was taboo, but the offer was tempting, and it made him think twice. “I just feel bad for you when you were insulted back at the hotel. You’re bigger than normal, but it isn’t the real you. What gives that woman the right to insult you? It’s terrible.” Quill knew exactly how to gain Julian’s trust. When Julian recalled Giselle insulting him in front of a crowd, anger consumed him. He thought about people taking advantage of him while his family was facing difficulties. It would also encourage him to be better. “You are quite kind, but have we met before?” Julian did not want to miss any opportunity, but he wanted to know more before progressing. His family’s company was on its last straw and only a large amount of money could save them. Julian was insulted today because his family was not strong enough, a

After the incident at the mansion, Edmund trusted Kaze completely, and he knew the man would never sell him out. Kaze had always been an honest man, and he would never betray the people around him. Once he acknowledged someone as his ally, he would protect them with his life. A person like Kaze would never sell Edmund out. As long as Edmund continued to believe in Kaze, then he would be safe. Edmund’s gaze grew firm as he looked at Lyra. “Ms. Nash, if you are not a fan of the dishes, I’ll have the kitchen make something else. Where are you staying? Still at the five-star hotel?” he asked. Edmund wanted to know where she was staying after she left, and he knew they would be on the move to avoid problems. However, tracking them down would be Kaze’s job, and he did not have to worry about that. Edmund asked because he wanted to see if Lyra would reply confidently. “No need for that. I might not even like what you prepare. Might as well save it for yourself.” Lyra stood
