Chapter 3206 Gaslight

Author: Five Generals
Aiden broke out in a cold sweat when he remembered losing Crown Tower at the auction.

He said solemnly, “I’m sorry, Ms. Hara. The fault lies in me.”

“I love a strong and powerful man who can handle me, Mr. Krad. I don’t need a rash man who can’t think straight.”

Reiko grabbed a towel and wiped every inch of Aiden’s body.

Her fingers coasted along Aiden’s Adam’s apple, and she said indifferently, “You better ask us before you make the next move. Otherwise, you might lose the chance to work with us again.”

Aiden gritted his teeth and said nothing.

Dropping the attitude, Aiden was as meek as a kitten in front of Reiko.

He was usually the one getting handsy with Reiko.

By the time Reiko withdrew her arm, Aiden’s expression had hardened.

He read between the lines.

Reiko talked about dropping him, not the Krads.

In other words, Reiko could go to another member of the Krads to collaborate.

Aiden’s competition was within his family.

He aimed to be the top of his family.

“Okay. I’ll handle it.”Kaze gave Dwight a look of gratitude. Sometimes, Dwight was smart. “Enjoy your breakfast, Mr. Lee. I should get going. I’m heading off early to the Viper’s Den to gather the situation and see if I should participate in the selection process.” Dwight took his key and left the apartment. The room fell into silence. Kaze pulled out his phone and called Edmund. “Mr. Lee, to what do I owe this morning's call? Is there something I can do for you?” Edmund was in his car, bound for the office. Though he came home late last night, he woke up at his usual time to start work. Work piled up on a daily basis, and he did not have the luxury to rest. If the exhaustion was too much, he would take afternoon naps. Yesterday, Edmund went back to rest after assuring everybody. These people were impressed with Kaze. Though they did not approve of his methods, they had respect for the strong. “How was yesterday? I hope those people don’t have an issue moving

“That reminds me. Where did you go after work? Was it urgent?” Darcy made up her mind not to pry, but in the end, she needed to ask just to put everything to bed. Kaze was the department manager of her company. His actions would reflect on the business. Either way, it was only right for Darcy to check up on him. “Nowhere. I went out to let loose.”Kaze was not in a position to relay the truth. Darcy took notice of the change in Kaze’s clothes. Kaze wore a suit when he left the office. Now, he was in a white T-shirt and jeans. He looked young and vibrant. That was not the point, though. The thing was he had a change of wardrobe. Surely, there had to be an occasion or venue that required different attire. Before, Darcy assumed that he had gone to the bar to wind down. However, she gathered that he might have met someone or taken a shower to freshen up. With that in mind, Darcy was furious. Even though she had no idea why she was angry, the rage simply overwhelmed

Darcy went back home and continued working on the couch. She turned on her laptop and wanted to start typing. She put her hands on the keyboard, but her fingers did not move. Her mind was filled with concerns about Kaze. “Strange. He went off right after work. Where did he go? Why didn’t he pick up? He’s not an impulsive person; he shouldn’t be offending people or getting into trouble.” Darcy was still worried. She knew she should not be but she could not help it. “What did he actually do? Who is he to me now? I should really stop thinking about him.” She got angry for no reason. Darcy should not be bothered, but Kaze did not give her a reason for skipping work the other day. She could not rest, and her thoughts were drifting away. She called Kaze, but no one picked up. She got even more frustrated. She knew she should not be nosy, but she could not help it. “I want to talk to him because I don’t want him to screw up the project that Edmund invested in. His projec

It all happened too fast so none of them were able to react. Kaze took one of the guys out in just the blink of an eye. The men knew that Kaze was strong after defeating Desmond and the twins, yet they did not expect him to be this fierce. “What’s the matter? Not going to fight anymore? I thought you guys would fight me with everything, but you all turned out to be cowards.” Kaze looked at the fallen one and grinned. It might look normal like a victorious smile, but it sent chills down everyone’s spine. They could sense death in Kaze’s gaze. Kaze looked at everyone and urged them to fight him at once. “It’s getting late. I don’t want to waste any more time. I have to go back to rest as I have work tomorrow. Those on the side can come together as well. I don’t really care if you take turns or what.” Kaze’s words screamed arrogance, and it irritated the men. Without any hesitation, they dashed toward Kaze. Things became extremely chaotic for a moment as everyone attac

When they finally reacted to the situation, they went up to the twins and checked the broken swords. The breaking point was clear and clean. The swords were sturdy even for training use and they were intact before the spar began. It was surprising and unbelievable, but they doubted Kaze. They even suspected the bat that Kaze used. However, they all knew that the bat was used by Desmond before this spar and it should be clean. “What have you done with the bat? How can it break the sword like that?” “Yeah! It’s impossible. You must have cheated.” The men went up to Kaze and wanted to check his bat. Kaze scoffed. “Go ahead. Check the bat.” He tossed the bat at them. They took it and carefully checked the bat but it was completely fine. They did not expect Kaze to be this strong. Each of them took turns to check the bat, but it only baffled them even more. Kaze barely did anything but he had beaten Desmond and the twins in succession, which proved that he was stro

“Shut up! Stop with your insults! I will beat you!” As Desmond roared, he pressed forward and aimed at Kaze’s legs. Kaze was prepared. He leapt into the air and then tiptoed around the bat before landing on it. Desmond clung onto his bat but his body was pulled forward by the force and his posture was lowered. “What are you doing? Let go!” Desmond tried to pull the bat away and continue his attack but it did not budge. Kaze was strong as if a mountain were on top of his bat. “I say you can’t beat me with brute force and I don’t want to ‘dance’ with you anymore. You are going to exhaust yourself,” Kaze said casually and nonchalantly, but his words held weight. Everyone else in the room had experienced a fair share of Desmond’s strength and he could pack a punch. He could easily punch through walls or inflict internal bleeding to the target with a single strike, breaking a few bones along the way. They were elite agents who constantly trained themselves to be stronger
