The Mendovas are corrupt people and there are many rumors that surround them. There is a rumour of Hannah being the queen of the shadows, it referenced her job as an assassin so many people thought she was a prostitute who lured men to the Mendovas, her reputation with men didn't help her case so people immediately believed it. It's more darker than they thought, who would believe that the fragile woman in bed is a murderer ?

Some would think it's a joke, while others will think it's true. Like me I started believing the rumors surrounding her as an assassin after I saw her inflict pain on a student.

What made it so hard to believe she was an assassin ?

Hannah does sleep with some clients working with the Mendovas but when the clients are not longer useful, it's her duty to eliminate each one of them. They never made it alive to tell their story so the rumors of her being an assassin was brushed off.
