HE NEVER REALIZED it nor until she left. Until she turns her back at him. He was too harsh. He couldn’t contain his anger. He didn’t want other people to be treated badly because of him. He didn’t want others to worry. If he can, he would do his best to keep everything by himself.

It works better for him that way. But I guess, it didn’t, instead, I’ve hurt them more.

“Kung ano man ang mangyari sa akin, promise me Rave, you’ll keep smiling.”

Hindi niya nagustuhan ang sinabi ni Hannah sa kanya. She was smiling at him like it was just normal for her to say that.

“Don’t say that.”

Humigpit ang hawak nito sa kamay niya saka inihilig nito ang ulo sa balikat niya. Nakaupo sila sa isa sa mga bench sa garden sa ospital. Naka schedule na this week ang pangangak ni Hannah – C section dahil sa heart risk nito.
