The cheerleaders were already cheering in unison when the boys arrived at the field, and girls began going mad over them again, Roonie in particular.

They came to a sudden stop.

"What are you gonna do to Rook and Pearl? She's not even in school today, i hate suspense!" Hyce almost shouted.

"Calm down, sucker" Axel said through his teeth.

"I have plans tonight" Roonie replied, smiling that cruel smile again before leaving them.

"That was...fast" Axel went after him.

Hyce made to move too, but someone bumped into him from behind, and he turned to see Isaac, same department too.

"Hey, gee!" He smiled.

"Hey" Isaac returned it, and Teal joined them.

Rain is like the most quiet girl in campus too. How she became friends with Isaac is still a mystery.

Isaac left with Teal, and Hyce couldn't stop staring at Isaac till they went outta sight.

He smiled before joining his friends down the field.

7PM, WILSON'S MANSION*

Pearl is used to being alone.

She could spend days apart from her friends and be fine, but it's different today, maybe because her parents aren't around.

She slept throughout, and when she woke up, she came downstairs and stuffed her face with apples.

She loves apples so much.

She ate several junks... chocolates, sweets, gums and all that, but it just got worse.

Her friends are stuck with a group assignment, so they're not gonna be coming to stay with her tonight.

She'd have to persevere till daybreak.

She brought her duvet to the living room and folded herself on the couch as she tried to watch a movie... Through My Window.

Immediately a sèx scene popped up, she turned off the TV and sighed, getting her phone to go online, but heck, nothing is popping.

"I might just die" she muttered, missing her girls so badly.

Her mind went to last night's scene at Roonie's place, and her mouth felt bitter.

"Shit" she closed her eyes.

Her eyes stayed closed like that for minutes, and before she knew it, she already slept off.

She tucked herself deeper into the couch, and her phone fell to the ground in the process.

She fell into a deep sleep on the couch.

AN HOUR LATER*

Pearl woke up to found herself on her bed upstairs!

Her eyes widened as she sat up in bed and checked the time on the bedstand watch.

It's half past 8!

How did she get here? Wasn't she supposed to be on the couch in the living room?

She immediately sensed danger, and the thick smell of cinnamon with a mix of pine hit her nose.

Someone else is in this room with her!

A bugler???

She scurried out of bed and got her protective taser from her drawer, then she rushed to the switch and turned on the lights.

Her eyes widened to her temples, and sweat broke in her cleavage and backline when she saw who's sitting beside her vanity table like a king

Roonie Banks!

He's resting back on the chair, both arms on the armrests, and his head is tilted.

His outfit is totally black, defining him boldly

He looks like a newly crowned devil.

That sardonic smirk is intact on his face as he watched her pale out in fear.

She gets scared?

Good, maybe she's not the wonder woman he qualified her to be after all.

Pearl tried to shoot him with the taser, but the thing won't work.

"What the...

"I don't think it works without batteries" his cold voice came, and she faced him to see him holding the taser batteries.

Just how long did he spend in here?

How did he even get in? How did he...

He stood tall, interrupting her thoughts.

"You have no right to trespass into my house anyhow just because of something that ain't even my fault. Don't fuçking come close!" She shifted to the wall, gluing herself there.

Being in the same room with just one guy is lethargic to her health, she might just pass out.

"You found out, is that why you didn't step the campus, fox?" He raised his brows slowly, coming close again.

"I said don't come close!!" She shouted.

"You barged into my house last night, i'm only paying back" he replied point-blank.

"What do you want?" She muttered, gulping as she felt herself choking.

Nah...this can't be happening.

"Why don't we play a bit? Hide and seek" he muttered darkly, getting a gun from his back pocket.

Pearl's heart almost stopped...ok this guy is mad!

Is this a live action movie or something?

Why is she seeing a damn gun!

"It's your house, that's a bonus point for you. Run and hide anywhere, and I'd hunt you. If I get you, you do what I want, and if I don't, I leave" he replied firmly, gripping the gun.

She didn't even wait anymore before dashing out of the room, rushing downstairs.

Hell, why would her parents be on a trip tonight of all nights?

And those saying Banks is the gentlest guy in campus should be killed, no one can tell her he's not in any club.

She went for the main door and tried opening it for escape, but it's locked, and key is not in sight.

"Urgh!" She held her head.

Well played, Banks...well fuçking played.

She could hear his steady footsteps approaching on the rails, so she quickly dashed into her dad's study

She hid behind one of the shelves, calming her breaths and hoping not to get caught by this insane guy.

"Gawd, I promise not to smoke or drink anymore, save me"
