The building is almost full to the brim right now, but people are still journeying in.

Pearl appeared with her friends including Teal and Isaac, and their excited chats could be heard.

She had no plans to come, but the moment her friends said they'd be coming, she changed her mind.

They all have ice cream treats with them, but she's eating red apple alone.

She hates ice cream.

"Who do you think will be winning the hockey game?" Lizzy asked.

"Our college of course. Stallion college is not a match so wrap it up" Morgan replied.

"Yeah, wrap it the fûck up. So far Hyce and Banks are part of the team, we're getting the cup" Rebekah winked.

"You always talk about Hyce and Banks but never Axel, it's almost like you dislike him" Isaac replied.

"I noticed that too" Teal added.

"We're just not close" Rebekah replied, and the chats continued.

Pearl took out her phone when she suddenly got a text, and she rolled eyes when she saw it's from Roonie.

Criminal: You here already?

She decided not to reply, just to scratch that insane part of him again.

The moment she pocketed her phone, she saw Teal beside her though the others are already walking far

"Was that Banks? Do you like him?" Teal asked.

Pearl blinked twice. "What do you...

"Pearl" Jeremy's voice interrupted, and Teal left them.

"Hey, I'm so sorry about your face. No one knows your place and Rue won't tell me, I'd have come. I don't even have your line and...

"It's fine, honestly" Jeremy cut her off with a big smile.

"You sure?" Pearl asked.

"Yeah, and I'm even playing tonight?" He replied.

"Hockey? Will you be fine?" She said worriedly.

"Yeah, my face is not an hindrance, I'll be wearing helmet anyways" he replied.

"Cool" she smiled, and he brought out a jersey.

"Can you cheer me on with this? It's my team jersey " he said.

"Jeremy, I can't...

"Please... just this once" he begged.

"Sure" she reluctantly took the jersey, and he smiled again before leaving her.

Pearl found a bathroom to change into the white jersey, then she rushed to the stadium to find her friends.

It was easy to find them, and they luckily found a middle seat in the bright stadium, smelling like festival.

"Whose jersey are you wearing?" Rebekah asked immediately she saw it.

"Not important" Pearl replied.

They all focused back on the field as the cheerleaders began chanting energetically, pending the start of the game.

The hockey players are already on the field, preparing against the starting minute.

Roonie was drinking from a bottled water when Jeremy entered the field.

"He's playing?" Axel said unbelievably.

"You've gotta be kidding me, the hell is coach thinking?" Hyce replied.

Roonie kept quiet as Jeremy went to the coach.

He's not wearing his jersey like the others.

"Jeremy Diaz, where the hell is your jersey!" The coach glared.

Jeremy removed the small microphone attached to the coach's chest and smiled before talking into it.

"My girlfriend is wearing it, can I get another one?" He said, his voice echoing around the stadium.

Everywhere went silent immediately.

Dead silence.

"Your girlfriend?" The coach frowned.

"Yeah, Pearl Wilson.....over there" Jeremy replied, pointing her in the crowd.

Pearl froze as all eyes zeroed in on her, and a spotlight even came on, making her more visible to those at the back.

She appeared on the stadium LED screen too, and another saga happened.

"Oh shit" Hyce muttered when he saw Roonie's eyes.

It became bloodshot already, and he's not moving.

He could imagine him burning inside.

• Jeremy's girlfriend?

• Is this for real?

• She kissed Banks in the morning!

• Is she kidding me?

• I can't believe this.

• Jeremy over Banks? Gross!

The stadium landed in disarray immediately, and Pearl made to leave, but they weren't even giving her space.

Jeremy smiled widely, and Axel walked to Roonie who's still not moving.

"Dude, you should...

Roonie moved before he could finish.

He began taking long strides towards the bleachers, entering the crowd of students.

They made way for him, and Hyce dived his hand into his hair.

"Shit" he muttered.

"Let's get out of here" Rebekah quickly took Pearl's hand and was about to make way when Roonie got to them.

They both halted.

"Banks ...

Rebekah made to talk, but a slicing glare from him shut her up, then he faced Pearl who's looking undecided.

"Take it off" he muttered, and gasps broke.

"What are you talking about?" She replied firmly, her throat bobbing.

His eyes darkened more, seeping deep under her skin...

"Take that jersey off right now, little fox, or I'll fuçking rip it off you"
