LOGINScarlet frowned as she took in her surroundings- the void around her. She realized she couldn't see anything except a vast field of clouds. "Where is this?" Mumbling, she tried moving forward, but the fear of falling tied her to a spot.
Fateball rolled around, seemingly enjoying itself. "This is my space." It twisted its fur gently. "It's formless now because I'm still an infant..." Trailing off, it rolled closer to Scarlet and poked her nose. "But we can grow together, right?"
Scarlet nodded her head in a daze.
"Good. Now, let's start with your mission."
Immediately after Fateball mentioned "mission," a string of words appeared before Scarlet...
[Conquer 100 worlds, and you will be able to save Carlos. Conquer another 100 worlds and restore Carlos' happiness. Conquer another 100 worlds and wipe his memories of you.]
"Are you ready?" Fateball asked.
Scarlet stared at the words, reading over and over again as she wondered what was going on. It wasn't her first time seeing something like this, but it had only been in books. She never imagined herself experiencing it.
Scarlet sighed and closed her eyes. "Let's start." She needed to save Carlos.
Carlos couldn't be ruined because of her...
Fateball revealed a toothy smile the moment it heard Scarlet's reply. It quickly rolled around, turning in the void until things changed again, and Scarlet realized she was being transferred.
DING!
[WELCOME TO THE FIRST WORLD!]
[MISSION: Punish Klaus: 2000 points.
Punish Lyn: 2000 points.BONUS MISSION: Win Cyn's heart: 3000 points.]
●WORLD STORY:
The host began a relationship with her long-term crush, Klaus, on her 18th birthday, had sex with him, and sealed their bond. Not long after, she got pregnant, and surprisingly, Klaus accepted the pregnancy and rented an apartment for her. She dropped out of school, hoping to focus on her baby for a while, but things went awry when her best friend, Lyn, and Klaus got together behind her back...
"Is she dead?" Scarlet questioned, her voice low and cold.Fateball pressed its lips in a straight line. "Yes." It replied.
"Did she give birth to her baby?"
"She didn't."
Scarlet's eyes trembled, and her lips twitched. "Then... She lost it. She lost two lives." Her voice faltered.
"Which is why they have to be punished," Fateball responded. She sounded angry.
Scarlet nodded. "Okay." She slowly clenched her fist as she sucked in her lower lip. She felt extremely irritated in her heart listening to the host's story. She didn't need to listen to everything. She just needed to know that the host was deceived, ruined, and forgotten - the same reason she never wanted to fall in love___
Scarlet opened her eyes, finally ready to register her new environment, and around her were numerous seats, occupied by students in uniforms, laughing and chatting amongst themselves. She looked at their young faces, realizing they must all be about 18- 19___, high school students.
Her eyes settled on the couple beside her, capturing a male with a head full of short brown hair, long nose, full lips~ he was the kind of guy that could only be described as handsome. Looking like he could occupy a front page in a magazine. While sitting beside him, smiling coyly, was a delicate-looking young girl with waist-length black hair and bright eyes. The two indeed looked really good. However, Scarlet felt like something wasn't right...
'Fateball,' She called in her mind. Having gotten used to reading numerous transmigration books, Scarlet needed no teacher to tell her Fateball had a link to her mind.
As expected, Fateball's voice rang in her mind. "What's up?"
'I don't think you know this, but I'm a terrific face-con...'
"Say no more. Isn't that why Carlos is your only idol?' Fateball replied with smugness.
Scarlet rolled her eyes. 'Then, why do I only feel disgust when I look at these two beside me? They look so good, but they somehow disgust me instead." She lamented.
Fateball cackled. "That's Klaus and Lyn. Go pull out their eyes!"
Scarlet squinted her eyes. Indeed, slags would never entice her.
They were always disgusting!
The couple seemed to feel her gaze on them as they both turned to look at her. Klaus gifted her a bright smile as he stretched his hand and ruffled her hair. "You're awake." He said, his tone filled with adoration.
Scarlet winced. She swiftly pulled back, dodging the hand snaking toward her head again. "I will visit the bathroom." She said and quickly stood up.
Klaus looked taken aback. He stared at Scarlet, revealing a bewildered expression as he slowly nodded his head. "Do you need me to come with you?'
Scarlet scoffed inwardly, but her expression never changed... Maybe she wasn't good at anything else, but her facade never failed___ "No, I'm okay." She said, and without sparing Lyn a glance, she walked out of the classroom, making her way toward the bathroom.
Standing before the mirror, Scarlet gasped at her reflection, unable to believe her eyes. Staring at the messy face in the mirror, with messy bangs covering her eyes, black rimmed glasses covering over half of her face, and chapped lips, Scarlet shook her head, suddenly feeling sad.
"You didn't tell me the host was so ugly!" She lamented.
Scarlet might be anything, but she never compromised her appearance!
[Appearance: 90/90
Charm: 10/100]Fateball revealed the original host's data before Scarlet.
Scarlet shook her head. "Bullshit." She cursed and raised her fingers to remove the glasses. She had only held the glasses when her stomach churned.
She bent forward, pressed a hand on her stomach and another on her chest as she rubbed gently to suppress the uncomfortable feeling in her chest.
Her throat felt blocked and hollow at the same time. She kneaded her chest again, gagging uncomfortably.
Scarlet ran to the toilet and rested her hands on her throat as she threw up everything the original host had eaten before she crossed over.
She spent minutes throwing up, reflexive tears streaming down her face. She spat out the irritating saliva in her mouth and slowly stood up, her breathing haggard.
"Fateball, Fateball, don't tell me I crossed over when she's already pregnant..." Scarlet's heart trembled.
Scarlet shook her head, forcing back her tears and also forcing out a smile at the king. "It's okay, Dad. I'm not exactly angry.""That's good. My daughter isn't angry at me." The king smiled happily. "Dad will compensate you when the meeting is over, okay?" Her mood brightened. Having a father's love was everything she ever asked for... But beneath everything, Scarlet had to remind herself that it was fake. Her true father wouldn't care this way. The mission also had to continue. Scarlet nodded. "Dad, did something happen to any of my sisters?" She feigned ignorance. The king's smile died down, and he sighed heavily. "Yes, daughter. Your third sister disgraced the royal family." He clenched his fist. "He dared sleep with a man without proper marriage and even dared to deny it to the world." Scarlet silently listened. "If she had truly admitted it when she was caught, then we could have made use of that to lessen the humiliation she brought on herself, but she dared deny it.
Scarlet watched Lucien leave the room, and after resting for a while longer, she also left. She needed to return to the palace to meet her parents. Scarlet was certain about one thing, even though she wouldn't say she knew all the original host's desires, she knew the original host missed her parents dearly. Although Scarlet grew up without the love of her parents, always ignored and treated as if she didn't matter, she knew that most children in the world loved their parents. To fulfill the original host's wish, she wanted to see her parents and, at the same time, experience once again what familiar love felt like. Scarlet stopped a cab by the roadside, gave the man the address, and closed her eyes as she continued her thoughts. She missed the parents she had in the last world. No, she had been missing them for years, even in that world. The father died when Scarlet was only 40, and the mother died when she was 45. Though the presence of her brothers made her enjoy familial l
The door opened, revealing the alpha who had a large grin on his face. The moment his eyes settled on Scarlet, who was resting on the bed, the grin on his face grew bigger. "I've done what you asked." He dipped his hands into his pockets and stared at Scarlet with expectations in his eyes. Scarlet's creased brows slowly relaxed as she pushed back all raging thoughts. She smiled softly, and her lips parted, ready to praise the alpha. Perhaps the alpha needed some praise? But before she could say anything, she saw the alpha approaching the bed and standing too close to her. "What else do you need me to do?" "I've made you this way and can only compensate by dealing with your enemies for you." He shrugged, and his lips pressed into a thin line. "Don't feel burdened." Scarlet's lips twitched. She tried her best to control the hiss that was about to escape her lips. "Something else?"
Scarlet found herself dozing off as her mind wandered about whether the alpha had succeeded. Not like she doubted the alpha anyway. With his love for chaos, he would certainly ensure things worked out. Scarlet would never doubt that. But time was passing too slowly, and she was feeling too exhausted. Her body was sore from the activities, and her vision was becoming a bit blurry. She tried to keep her eyes on the door. She wouldn't be pleased if she ended up sleeping without receiving a positive report. Fortunately, the alpha didn't waste much time either. Scarlet soon heard voices outside the door and hurried to the sounds of footsteps. Her face immediately brightened. The sleep cleared away somewhat, and she struggled to sit in bed. She waited impatiently. The deed had been done, and the alpha should be back soon. Scarlet regretted working too hard earlier. She should have been able to see the drama with her eyes. "Wait, have you forgotten about me?" Fateball suddenly asked
Just as Scarlet was about to think of what to reply to the alpha, the sound of footsteps and noises sounded from the door, and her brows creased. She couldn't hear what was being said clearly due to the room's soundproofing, but judging by the numerous voices, she knew it was her third sister and the reporters making their way to the room she had left earlier. Her lips curled, showing a sinister smile as she looked toward the door. What could she do?Her third sister had prepared so many gifts for her. Would she have to waste it just like that? No, she had no such time. Scarlet returned her attention to the alpha, whose expression was unreadable as he stared at the blood in the bed. He seemed not to have expected Scarlet to be a virgin still. But that didn't matter to Scarlet. How many times...She shook her head, dispersing the sad memories that were about to creep into her mind. "Alpha..." She paused, and a slight frown formed on her face. She suddenly realized she had no ide
Scarlet felt like she'd heard wrong. Her heart raced violently, and she paled. This alpha knew one of her sisters? If that was the case, didn't that mean she still fell into their trap?Even when she tried so hard to escape. She still couldn't make an escape? Why?Why would things not change?Scarlet felt scared. Not because of anything, but because she didn't want to make the same mistake the original owner made. She knew how terrible it was for someone to fail. She'd failed so many times in her life that it had become traumatic to her. Even when she tried her best, she still failed...But she really hoped things were different in these fictional worlds. She really didn't want to fail. Especially when it came to giving herself to a man...She closed her eyes, suppressing the pain she felt from down there and her heart. The alpha kept slamming into her like he wouldn't stop until he penetrated her womb. His action was fierce, and the pain mixed with pleasure brought tears to
Klaus was surprised. Scarlet had never rejected him before. Everyone in school knew how Scarlet ran after him, wagging her imaginary tail like a dog and answering to every call of his. The reason he noticed Scarlet in the first place was her obsession with him. She did it so much that she made th
Scarlet's word attracted the attention of the whole class. They looked at each other in dismay. Every one of them wondered what was going on. They had followed Klaus' eyes earlier and knew the person he was staring at was Scarlet. Maybe Klaus had been to Lyn in the past, but Scarlet had alw
Scarlet was taken aback. 'I can kill him?' She asked in bewilderment. Why didn't anyone tell her that in the first place? All she had to do was kill Klaus, and she would have won the world, right? But then again... Scarlet shook her head. Killing Klaus was too lenient a punishment. With
Scarlet woke up the next morning in the hotel room. She yawned and stretched her hands. Her legs shifted, but a sharp pain at her waist made her wince, and she frowned slightly. "This..." Her mind flashed, and memories of the things that happened last night flashed in her mind again. Her
