CHAPTER: 5
We went to the chapel near our home early in the morning. Maybe it just takes us fifteen to thirty minutes to drive because the chapel is just a few blocks away.
“You go ahead,” Echo told me.
“Why?” I asked
“Because I am not feeling well, my head is aching,” He answered.
“I will wait for you here inside the car”, He added.
“Okay,” I said and kissed him.
I got out of the car and went to the chapel by myself. I am so excited while taking my steps to the chapel. My heartbeat was fast because of excitement. I remember that this is the chapel that we always visited every weekend

I woke up without noticing that it was already six p.m. I fall asleep with Echo in his arms. It’s early in the morning, and I am drinking coffee on the balcony. The smell of fresh flowers makes my morning great while looking at the people passing by. I suddenly remembered my laptop hidden inside my cabinet and my social media account that I hadn't checked for long. Since I got depressed about nanny Silva’s death, I hid my laptop inside my cabinet and promised not to engage in any activity because I hated the world when she died, but now I am ready to use it again. I went inside my room and kissed Echo first on his forehead because he was still sleeping. I got my laptop from the cabinet and went back to the balcony. I woke up early because I smelled the aroma of the coffee downstairs that energized me. Maybe Echo is already awake and preparing coffee for us. I comb my hair, brush my teeth, and change my sleeping dress to the ordinary dress I always wear before going down. I also heard the beautiful song that is my nanny Silva’s favorite. It’s Annie’s song from John Denver. I didn’t know that Echo knew that song, too, because I remember when nanny Silva was still alive. She loved to play that song every time she was doing the household chores. I noticed that the windows were already open. The thing that Echo didn’t do. He never opens a window, neither do I. The sunlight passes through the window, telling me that the morning is good, making my morning slightly different because I am not used to it. I went inside nanny Silva’s room and took the necklace that I gave her inside her cabinet because I wanted to wear it to remember her. I hold the heart pendant of the necklace and starts crying because of the pain that lingers. Her death is unacceptable. She’s a good, loving and unselfish woman. She didn’t deserve to die that way. I partly blamed myself for forgetting about how she died. I didn’t fight for her, I was just a teenager back then, and I left her alone. “I am sorry, nanny”, I whispered while holding the necklace close to my heart. “Babe, let’s go. It’s time for worship again. I didn’t wake Echo up because I know he was very tired yesterday because we went to the cemetery to visit nanny Silva’s grave. I kissed him on his cheek and whispered, “I love you.” I gently closed the door and drove to the chapel. “Helena”, Brother Even called me. He is waiting for me to arrive and I know why. Today is the day. I cooked amazing food for our lunch. I prepared everything that would please them. The confetti, my welcome greeting for them, and even some of the balloons that Echo blew. I will hold the lunch in our backyard for them to see the flowers that nanny Silva planted. I put the long table and the chairs at the top of Belinda’s grave because I know they are too dumb to notice. I put all the foods well presented on the table for the girls to enjoy, for their mouths to water so that they will be excited to eat the food that I cooked, and of course, I get the bible from nanny Silva’s room and put it on the table beside the food. I checked everything if I missed something before they arrived, and I think everything is set now. WE WILL HAVE A PARTY. “Everything is set now, babe?” He asked and waited for my answer; maybe I still needed help from him.
HELENA CHAPTER: 12
I got tired after a long day, and I fell asleep when I heard a girl crying downstairs inside nanny Silva’s room. I stand up, with my messy hair and sleepy eyes. I wear my slippers, and slowly open the door to avoid creating the sound so I will not wake Echo up. Because I know he’s tired; it’s been a long day for him too. I went down to check who was crying. I walk slowly, passing to the kitchen to go to nanny Silva’s room. I saw mama, daddy, John, and the girls still at the dining area, watching me walk slowly. When I reached the nanny’s room, I slowly opened the door to check who was crying and I saw a young girl who is about six years old; wearing a dress with a teddy bear and a red balloon crying red balloon design on her dress., scared from the thunder and lightning inside the room and an older woman hugging her, comforting her and singing her a lullaby. I try to go to the chapel expecting to see Brother Ven because I know chapel is his life, and he is always there even when it is not time for worship. I told Echo that I needed to meet Brother Ven to talk to him about the mission. I know he will understand me and help me because we are both God’s angels on different levels. I bought him the bananas and apples that I brought from the mini-market because I am trying to be nice so he would say yes to me. I hope I can bribe him with the bananas and apples. I parked my car near the balloon vendor who was standing under the mango tree waiting for someone to buy his balloons and I went inside the chapel. I looked around to see him, but he was not there.
