“You know where to find us,” he said on the phone, his ominous tone along with his malicious smirk, made my skin crawl. Pure panic and fear were taking over me. Ryker knew! He knew about this place and he was coming for me. No! Deep inside, I was freaking out, making the room suddenly feel like a freaking jail, and I was stuck with this man.

He kept on staring me down, all icy and scheming, and those eyes told me he had some twisted scheme cooked for me, and how it’d mess with Ryker. The thought of Ryker blowing his top when he figured out I’d been lured to his father sent a chill of dread and sadness right through me.
