Seasoned

Still staring at the door, Lily broke down in tears, it was the first time in years since she cried, her dad had always made sure she was happy, and secure, that she always smiled, he would beat up anyone who made her cry, she missed so much, his hug. 

A phone call brought her from her thoughts, she looked to see it's her brother calling, cleaning her eyes, she let it ring, standing up to have her bath and get to work. 

She didn't know where to start from,the house was big. Luckily, Jake came to help, he help her with places that didn't have security cameras, and got the groceries for her, he drove out, when he saw his boss driving in with his brother Jacob. 

While Felix was a driver, Jacob was a secretary to Christian, they were brothers, however Mr Christian was fond of missing their name and they learnt to leave with the fact that their boss wouldn't ever say their name right, rather than arguing to correct him, they simply go with the flow and answered whatever name he called them. 

He watched them go inside and couldn't help but notice why a lady was with him, he never brought a lady to this house, only Miss Clara  but she is late now, this puzzled him till he left the building. 

Meanwhile, Christian was shocked, when he came by noon and saw everywhere neat,the fridge packed up with food items and the clothes washed." She isn't an ordinary rich girl" he thought to himself, as he inspected the house the more, the only thing was,  he couldn't find was her, he scanned the house but didn't find her in it. 

" Babe what are you looking for? " the girl who had followed him asked. If only she knew how she irritates him, she wouldn't talk, but the reason why he had brought her here was to torture Lily the more.

She by name, Stella was nothing but a gold digger, she is from a rich family but an illegitimate child of a drug dealer, he knew she was just trying to hit it big with him, so she could be at the top of her family, and yet she was the perfect tool for him when it comes to how sassy and rude she can be. A girl who lacks home training, she just needs to be here for Lily sake.

He decided to check the garden, and like a pet, Stella followed him, he soon found her pulling the weeds off the garden. " Who is she? " Stella asked, eyeing Lily as she worked. " Well, in the eyes of the public she is my wife, but here she is nothing but a maid" He replied coldly. This made Stella smile as her insecurities were gone.  She picked up the watered can filled with water and poured it on Lily.  "Oops, sorry, you are human, I thought you were a flower"she said when Lily got up in anger. Watch it Lily warned, with a death glare before bending to continue what she was doing. 

Christian loved the show, he knew deep in him that Stella was really perfect for the job. " Is that how you were taught to greet your husband?"  he asked, looking at her. " I'm sorry, I didn't know you were around" Lily responded in an apologetic manner. 

Ignoring her, he wrapped his hand around Stella's thin waist and smiled at her. " Well, my baby and I are hungry and we want lunch," he said, still looking at Stella. 

" Lunch is ready" Lily answered unconcerned even though it pained her. She set the table and served their meal, before calling them in. She sat down opposite them, waiting for them to be through so she can clear and hopefully have some sleep before dinner time. When Stella tasted the food, she could help but smile, it tasted so good as if a chef had made them, not just any chef but a professional chef. However, she wanted to see what Christian meant when he said, she was nothing but a maid to him. She quickly stopped eating and frowned her face, so Christian would notice and after a while he did. 

" What wrong babe" he asked, looking at Stella. I don't like how it tastes, it lacks salt, and the meat is not properly cooked. She complained in a baby-like tone. " You should know that she is not only a bad housewife but a terrible cook with no home training" he lashed out. " Well then, it's not bad, if we start teaching her how to cook '' Stella said standing up. 

All we need is water. She continued pouring water on Lily, some salt and pepper she added, pouring all this item on Lily and seasoning she finished off, adding whatever seasoning she could find on Lily. 

They both burst out laughing, looking at Lily, who was already crying. " Now you know how to cook better," Christian mocked as he carried Stella upstairs.

  Oh babe that made my day Stella said halfway. But you know what would be more fun she asked him. What he asked in an inpatient tone. 

"Making out in front of her" she answered. That is an excellent idea Christian said as he dropped Stella. " Why don't we get her" he asked with a smirk.
